so...its 2012!...if that makes a diff...haha...its just a new set of 12 months to through...heehee...so here are my resolutions for this yr...n i would hope to achieve most of it by the end of the yr...=D
some are repeated from next yr cos i thought they are good actions that should be done again...=D

so here goes...12 resolutions for 2012...=D

Maintain weight between 46-48kg
Treat family and friends
To travel to another country other than Malaysia
Save more money
Be a better gf, daughter and friend
Celebrate Dearie's B'day with a bang!
Learn to cook more lauk-lauk dishes
To plan a couples' retreat
To spoil Dearie more
To try out freelance modelling
Collaborate with Dearie and write songs
To visit more places of interest in Singapore

Insyallah...i'll be able to achieve most of them by the end of the year...=D tata!

Resolution Review

So...after concluding 2011...let's review my 2011 resolutions and see if i manage to achieve at least half of it....=P...there were 11 resolutions made...cos it was 2011...heehee...

1. Maintain weight between 46-48kg

- i haven't had the chance to weigh myself in so long so i dont really know the actual number...but i guess since i can still fit into all my clothes...i should be somewhere near my usual weight....=D....so.... CHECKED!

2. To get a vehicle licence

- hahaha...i shall laugh at myself first...nowhere near...n i don't tink i'm doing so anytime soon...=P....so...NOT CHECKED!

3. To learn how to play the keyboard well

- and i shall laugh at myself again...enough said....NOT CHECKED!

4. To write a song

- heehee...nope!...NOT CHECKED!

5. To be a better gf, friend and daughter

- I've tried my best...so...CHECKED?...heehee

6. To travel to another country and it can't be Malaysia

- Hell yeah i did...Went US with family...AWESOME trip yet...=D...CHECKED!

7. Treat my family and friends at least once

- Did it! so...CHECKED!

8. To save more money

Its a love hate relationship i guess...some months i'm stable n some broke =D so...CHECKED!

9. To be patient

- Not done well... NOT CHECKED!

10. To own a credit card

- Nope...heehee...NOT CHECKED!

11. To celebrate Dearie's b'day properly

- Carousel and iPhone 4...awesome much? =P CHECKED!

so...6/11 resolutions achieved...i shall try to put in more effort to achieve more resolutions for 2012...=P which brings us to the next entry...2012 resolutions! =D tata for this one...

So...2011 had been a whole load of roller coaster rides...there were ups and downs but it was a good ride...2011 couldn't have been memorable without the important ppl in my life

Family - My 2 lil dudes...always making me smile with their boncetness and witty tendencies , my 2 bros who are now attached!...hahaha...happy for them..., my sis for being my gal pal in all the girlie stuff & my mum for keeping me independent...
Jo.L.E.S.S - Though we didnt see much of each other this yr due to busy schedules...its great to see u guys doing well in ur areas...may 2012 be kinder for us to meet up more =D
Aini & Khad - My long time sisters...glad we're still closer than ever despite our busy schedules and glad that i'm able to open up about everything that has happened...
Friskies, Apun & Jelly - still my bros at heart...we're closer this year and i cudn't be happier...i still enjoy all our times together and praying for u guys to find the happiness u deserve...=D
Colleagues - this yr had been a great ride in terms of career cos of awesome colleagues who are willing to help in every way...glad to have met u guys and i wish u all the best in your future endeavors
Aishah,Mai,CC,Soo, Sharmini - I'm glad to have met u guys and our group has been great in terms of work and play...its rare to meet a whole group that u're just comfortable with instantly and i tink u guys were a blessing to me...thanks for making the semester a really fun journey...cnt wait for next semester with u guys...=D
Dearie - This yr had been another rollercoaster...thank god that we managed to pull through and be even stronger than ever...insyallah we'll do this together alright....with much love forever & always <3

So...blogging has been quite hard...haven had mood to despite the many events...

continuing from the last entry....

- went Sitex and finally bought myself a lappy...named it Sirius...cos its black...heh =P...Bought a Asus K43S...Aishah bought the same one too =D...manage to get it at a good bargain for an i7 processor...cost me 1248 bucks...=D it been working really well for me...good purchase of 2011 yet...=D...but i can use my 400 bux LDS so technically my lappy is only 848 bux...which is even more better...=P...but i'm still waiting for my LDS claim to be approved...its been a pain the butt...the year is coming to an end man and i need to get my claim approved but its taking such a long time...

- Dec Bonus was awesome!...heehee...got 1.75 apart from the monthly pay...=D...but of course more than half of it is gone to pay the debts to my sis and mummy for the money i borrowed to buy Sirius...bt there's still quite a sum for me to enjoy some stuff...=D bought lots of small stuff actually....a bag for Sirius, my cosmetics stuff, paid for my upcoming Batam trip with the girls, bought lil dudes b'day gifts, Dearie's parents' ice cream log cake, treat for the family, bought ingredients for my Tiramisu, Blueberry cheesecake and Pavlova, my Nerf guns, microphone to skype with Dearie with...that's all for nw...we'll see if i buy anything else...=P...after buying Sirius shopping seems too extravagant for the moment even though i can afford to...wanna save some...=D

- KL trip with the rest for me was cancelled due to the stomach flu that i had...wrong timing ever...i was so crushed of course....its the highlight of the holiday and i've been looking forward to it...but alas...didnt get to go...which totally sux big time...but oh well...i guess being at home helped me bond with my sis and my lil dudes...they've been at my house cos its the holidays and its been really fun =D...

- GESL Day was smooth and no cockups at all...even the weather was perfectly timed...hahaha... it shone when its supposed to and it rained when it didn't matter...quite thankful for that....=) Glad to have my group members...easy to work with and unlike what i heard about other groups...my members had been a bliss to work with...=) i was the photographer alongside Huda...it was fun...=)

- Then there was the Meranti sessions...it was really good...2 days well spent but emotionally draining i suppose...it brought up repressed memories for everyone i suppose...bt i learnt alot from it despite it being only 2 days...i really learnt alot about my other GESL members and i tink the most important part for me is that i learnt more about myself...=)...its like...u don't realise things about urself until someone else point it out...and it was a real eyeopener and i'm glad for the session...ultimate teambonding or wat man...heehee

- then had a movie screening at Jelly's CC...it was just Apun, Jelly, me and Dearie...but it was really fun...watched all sorts of movies and shows...love hanging out with the guys...=D

- today...had a family dinner out...its been a while since my family had that...bt too bad lil bro cudn't make it...if not it wud'hv been perfect...went Tang's Tea House/Botak Jones...had a good steak...=D...me and Spideynan went dutch on the bill...a treating session...=D

- cnt wait to meetup with Aini and Khad...haven hung out with them for quite a while...wud be nice to catch up...Meet up with Essy was also cancelled cos of the stupid stomach flu...i missed her!...can't wait to plan another meet up...the holiday season is among us...=D

the year is coming to an end...can't wait to do my usual sum up of the year and concluding it...and to come up with new resolutions...=D will do that very soon =D

WOW...last entry was july 6...this is already november...WOAH...ultimate MIA moment...heehee

So...life has been different...loads of things hv happened...obviously....hahaha...its been 4 months since i last updated...so...woah...

will try to update in the most straight to the point way ever...=P so...

- just ended NIE's 1st sem...its been great...been working really well with my group mates who happens to be my hanging buddies too...made up of Mai,Soo, Aishah and Cher Chuang... Its really wonderful we found each other cos we work really well and despite being different in our own ways, we still have the same frequency where it all matters...heehee... =)

- I've been living in the hostel at NIE during the sem...its been a good experience...being more independent than i've been...enjoying it...=)...Shahidah had been a good roommate...=D

-buying a laptop next week at SITEX...gg with Dearie and Aishah...that will be money flying away within minutes...haha...major purchase of the year for me...=P...plus i'm using my LDS which is 400 bux...so that's gonna help ALOT!... =P gonna be really really really really broke! haiz...

- things with Dearie had been a rollercoaster ride...bt we are still strong together...and i'm happy!...=) its amazing how i can love someone that much...if u ask me 5 yrs ago if i'll ever feel like this...i wudn't have been able to answer...=)

- Dearie's b'day was in October...=D...treat him at Carousel and in case u forget this in time to come...u bought him an Iphone 4!...=D

- Went for the Big Walk at USS this year...it sucks...hahaha...didn't worth the money spent...cos the vouchers totally suck balls...=P bt on another note...it was a good bonding time for me and family...=)

- Dec is something i'm looking forward to...lotsa holiday trips with different set of friends...and i got the greenlight from mummy!....first time out of the country without my family...woohoo!... it'll be LEGENDARY!.... Batam trips and KL roadtrip!...AWESOME!...hopefully all will be well...=D

- Got myself 4 free tickets to Wild Wild Wet from Spideynan...gg with the guys...can't wait for that too...confirm epic...=D

Time off

So...its been a long time since i blogged...

Went LA and came back...it was a hell of a trip...something i never thought i'd ever do in a million years...to see pics...refer to my fb...lazy to upload here...bt it was a trip well spent...<3 <3

so...anyway...i guess the main part of the new semester of school would be the emotional roller coaster moment that i had...once i got home from US to check my status for NIE cos i still have not received my package...so i called NIE and received a moodkilling news...apparently i'm not gg to NIE for this intake...so...i was pretty much crushed...crushed as can be...hahaha...so...i returned to school for the new semester feeling like crap...especially when i realised that even my RO didnt know why i got in since she approved my entry for NIE...so..it was killing me inside not knowing why i didnt get in...

So...i decided to give NIE another call for some explanation...apparently when i called, the person help me check my status and it showed as i needed to be reassessed by the school...so i was even more crushed...so i told my RO abt it....she was still convinced that she already approve my entry...so she checked with NIE...after which she told me that i was actually allowed to go but NIE were out of vacancies...so i was feeling really2 crappy....

then while having dinner a few days later...a lady from NIE called and told me that there were some miscommunication in their department and that i'm actually going!...so...i was of course hysterically happy...so now i'm just waiting for my package/letter to come so i can start preparing to leave...=D

bt of course now i'm feeling kinda sad again cos i'll be leaving my nice colleagues...bt of course there's the anticipation of moving on to my next stage of life...

anyway...last saturday painted the wall outside Mr Vincent Wong's office...my job scope keeps getting weirder by the day....heehee...

so...on youth day...went Paintball-ing...that wud of course be the first time i ever paint ball...went with my colleagues...mainly Paul, Azhari, Sufian, Farhana, Paul and Terence...and we were suppose to battle teachers from other school...mainly cedar girls', canberra and jiemin pri...and guess who i saw?!...never i thought i wud ever run into him...it was my P3 teacher Mr Zaki...or at least he was a contract and my favourite teacher of all time...i totally recognised him the moment i saw him...haha...of course i used to have a crush on him...bt not anymore la...he's married with kids...so glad to hear that...=D...and i cnt believe he actually remembered me...so nice...=D

so it was like an unexpected reunion...=D...bt paintball was fun!...bruised a lot bt heck...it was a hell lot of fun...wud love to do it again...and again...and again...hahaha...=P...

so...that's it for now...nth much else i suppose...=)

Farewell i suppose?

So...i was tinking that perhaps i should post an entry before going to LA...just so i wont have too much things to say when i get back...

I'll just update what has been happening for the past weeks...well...

Exam week is over...then there was the compo marking and Paper 2 marking...it was a crazy long week...exhausted just by marking...bt its over!...

then there was the Social Studies SA1 for my P5 students...i tink they did pretty well...quite a few full marks...i like!....overall was well done i tink...=D...so i rewarded them with lollipops...=D =D

Watched Pirates of the Carribean with Friskies and Jelly the other time...it was fun!...then watched Kungfu Panda 2 too...

then the other time was the meet the parents session...it was an interesting experience...there are great parents and of course parents who tink they are great...hahaha...oh well...=)...

this week is the first week of school holidays...came back for meeting and workshops...as usual...lots of work though for reviewing of the worksheets...so much for holidays man...-_-

then just now had dinner with Essy and Suf...yeah...friends from different parts of my life are having a meal together...and they bonded as if they've been friends for years...haha...it was great...really fun...lost lots of calories just by laughing my butt out...hilarious moments and lots of bimbo moments...heehee...shud do it again guys!...a great way to distress...insults and what nots...=D...

work has been great...enjoying myself bonding with my closest colleagues Suf and Farhana...=D ....its kinda sad knowing i'm gonna leave my workplace soon for NIE...this is by far the nicest workplace i've ever worked in...the peers are all nice and always willing to help...gonna miss Mdm Zareena cos she's like a big sister to me and i've learnt a whole lot of stuff under her mentorship...and she's a really nice person...=)... then there's of course Suf and Farhana...gonna miss our topics of discussion and our yoghurt session...its sad that i only got closer to them only about a few months ago and now that i hv to leave...i'm gonna miss them a lot!...

then there's of course my favourite SS classes...i'm so gonna miss my students...they have been great and i have enjoyed teaching them all these while...and i hv finally broke the news to them that i'm leaving and it was so sweet when Elijah started tearing up...i was so touched...didnt manage to take photos with 5 Grace yet...only with 5 Kindness cos of the last minute MC for losing my voice literally...and it was really sweet of them to give me all sort of cards and books and countless number of red pens...all sorts of words of farewell...so touched...sometimes these kids dont noe how sweet they can be and how their little gestures can actually touched a teacher so much...=)

and so....as of today it'll be 2 more days for my LA trip!...hell yeah!....cnt wait man...luggage still in the process of packing...money ready...time to just chill and enjoy myself!...

Hey ppl...

Haven updated for more than a month...awesome...that's how busy i've been...and i've been typing this entry and saving it for weeks...hahaha...no time to actually finish it...=P

so...continuing from the last entry...

we eventually went bowling...haha...it was a really fun day...didnt realise i was pretty good in bowling...cos the last time i remembered i really sucked at it...haha...ooh well...

i just realise i dont remember things that happened...so wat i update wont be in order at all...haha

well...there was IFD...me and Syaf were the emcee...first time i am ever an emcee...the good thing is...the show ran pretty smoothly...the bad thing was...i was a nervous wreck that even my pupils mentioned that i looked and sounded nervous...haha...
well...at least i survived...haha...=P and its over now!...=D

the other thing that i remembered doing was watching a live band at the Esplanade...it was really nice...the female vocalist had a great voice...they were singing Breakfast at Tiffany's, Yellow, Mercy and many more...it was a great time well spent...

Another huge thing that happened wud be i purchased a mountain bike from Sufian...it was his actually...and i got a really good deal...200 bux for the bike and the helmet...plus its blue and shiny...=P

then there was the zoo trip with my P3 Class...it went well i suppose...for once i managed to lead someone without getting lost...hahaha...=P...the only thing was when a student had motion sickness while on the bus...that was unexpected...bt since i was a motion sickness person before this...i was well prepared to control the situation...haha...totally reminded me of the time when i cnt take any transport without being motion-ly sick...=P

So...my b'day was a lot of different days i suppose...

had an advanced one with my Aini and Khad and they gave me a Victoria Secret perfume...funny thing wud be when they found out i dont wear perfume...haha...bt of course since they bought me a huge bottle and its expensive....i hv started to wear perfume...=P...had the mini celebration at Marina Barrage...it was a bloody hot day bt it was really pretty up there....and they cooked specially for me!...aini made potato salad while khad made burger and smores...nice!...and of course there was a sinful Choc Banana cake from Awfully Choc...spent the whole day together...we bonded like crazy after a heart to heart talk with them...finally told them something that i've kept a secret for a long time...love u girls =)

Then on the actual day was of course a working day...the day was a plain old day until Sufian opened his mouth then suddenly everyone noes its my b'day...including my students...so...my students for 5 Kindness decided to make and impromptu surprise for me...it was really2 sweet of them...was really touched....they decorated on the board and sang a b'day song for me...it was nice...=)

Of course throughout the day there were a couple of gifts left on my table either by my colleagues or student and some anonymous once...it was a nice feeling...=)...and the usual flooding of FB...heehee...after remedial met Dearie...had dinner at a hotel...expensive i must say...=P....it was a really romantic nite...

The next day...it was another celebration with Dearie's parents...they treat me to J's Wok And Grill for dinner...it was a nice dinner...and i tot that was it...bt apparently...the next2 day while me and Dearie was gg around TM...his parents were there and they had brought a gift for me...it was a Charles & Keith bag...really nice...i love it...i still cant believe they go to the trouble of getting me a gift...touched...=)

Next is of course the belated b'day with L.E.S.S...had dinner at Seoul Garden...then they surprise me with a gift...found it in my bag when i realise my bag was getting bulkier...haha...it was a nice surprise...it was a Guess bracelet...=D...i love it...then camwhored in front of the avocado thingy...heehee... a lovely day with my girls...

then there was the flashing incident...haha...=P...well...the story goes like this...it was a day where i happen to wear a low cut top...bt to compensate for that i wore my tudung lower to cover it up...it was successful...then came Amirah...while me,Suf and her was otw to lunch, Mr Azhari was asking about getting some cloth with Suf...then Amirah (trying to be funny) decided to swing my tudung up since its cloth...and there goes my chest and cleavage....exposed...to Suf and Mr Azhari...Mr Azhari immediately left the scene after that...that is the end of the story...

Then there was the poop incident for Farhana...it was funny...hahaha...so...suf's car smelled funny one day and we cnt think of the cause...and so...at the end of the day...while before i was carpooling home...Suf found the cause...it was at the back seat mat...where Farhana was sitting in the morning...it was cat poop...apparently Farhana had stepped on cat poop and got into the car...it was hilarious during the revelation...a good joke...if u're reading this...sorry Farhana...its a memory worth remembering so i had to typed it out...=P

Also...went nite cycling with Syaf,Suf and Farhana the other time...it was great until i crashed and busted my knee...heehee...i only realised that i was bleeding when i got home...ooh well...a fun day nonetheless...though i do feel that i led the team down cos they had to stop a lot because of me...so i kinda felt crappy...hopefully they had fun...

Then there was the other time after Sport's Carnival where i joined the P3 and P4 teachers playing boardgames at a cafe at Prinsep...it was fun...=P...and hung out with Syaf, Farhana and Suf after that...a great nite...

Then the other time went Johor with my sis, bros and lil dudes...the trip is actualy to tailor clothes with the fabric that we had...cnt wait to see the outcome...

Then there was the pink prank we pulled on Sufian...that was basically Mrs Raju's farewell gift to Suf...haha...=)

Then on the 31 March it was Mrs Raju's last day...bt too bad didnt really had a final goodbye with her cos of the packed day i had cos it was the same day as the zoo trip with 3 Hope...i really missed her as my deskmate...she was a chirpy woman with witty jokes...i love talking to her...may she have a great life ahead...=)

Then there was the bowling tournament for the houses...it was great...Yellow house rocked! thanks to Syaf and Amirah of course...hahaha...i was in top 10...quite delighted abt that...haha...

Then the other time celebrated Nafis's B'day at Swensens...after which we head to Grandlink for a karaoke session...it was another fun day...=D love spending time with the guys...my bros from another mother...

Then just last week on the labour day weekend...went out with the guys again...Jelly, Apun and Dearie...Friskies was in camp so he didnt make it...bt the rest of us had a great day...spent the day till quite late..bt luckily didnt get into trouble with my mum cos i managed to get her a present...haha...went Vivo's Adidas cos Jelly's sis worked there and there was a sale in addition to a 40% off staff discount...so Jelly invited us to abuse the discount...then camwhored at the store...=P...followed by free Starbucks thanx to Apun...and dinner at Zam Zam...it was a great day cos i haven seen them in a while...love spending time with them...

Then...just a few days ago visited a student of mine at the hospital...really sad to see her in that state...so young yet so strong and brave...brought her some gifts...it was nice to see her smile on the second day...gonna visit her again tomorrow...

Elections over...all i cn say is...bullshit!...=P...ooh well...good luck to all for the next 5 yrs i suppose...

And i just realise wat i wanna really do in life...and i'm really serious about it...its gonna take a whole lot of planning and money...bt that's wat the next few years is for i suppose...i'm gonna open my own Halal cafe...and i'm gonna sell things that u dont usually find in Singapore...and i'm gonna make it an awesome place ever...so...i'm gonna be a teacher for a while...built my income and when everything is stable i'm gonna take a shot at this...running my own eatery had been a dream that i thought was impossible...bt i realise it is possible...for my passion of cooking...this i shall make my mission for the next few years...wish me luck ppl...=)

the other thing that i remembered doing was watching a live band at the Esplanade...it was really nice...the female vocalist had a great voice...they were singing Breakfast at Tiffany's, Yellow, Mercy and many more...it was a great time well spent...

Another huge thing that happened wud be i purchased a mountain bike from Sufian...it was his actually...and i got a really good deal...200 bux for the bike and the helmet...plus its blue and shiny...=P

then there was the zoo trip with my P3 Class...it went well i suppose...for once i managed to lead someone without getting lost...hahaha...=P...the only thing was when a student had motion sickness while on the bus...that was unexpected...bt since i was a motion sickness person before this...i was well prepared to control the situation...haha...totally reminded me of the time when i cnt take any transport without being motion-ly sick...=P

So...my b'day was a lot of different days i suppose...

had an advanced one with my Aini and Khad and they gave me a Victoria Secret perfume...funny thing wud be when they found out i dont wear perfume...haha...bt of course since they bought me a huge bottle and its expensive....i hv started to wear perfume...=P...had the mini celebration at Marina Barrage...it was a bloody hot day bt it was really pretty up there....and they cooked specially for me!...aini made potato salad while khad made burger and smores...nice!...and of course there was a sinful Choc Banana cake from Awfully Choc...spent the whole day together...we bonded like crazy after a heart to heart talk with them...finally told them something that i've kept a secret for a long time...love u girls =)

Then on the actual day was of course a working day...the day was a plain old day until Sufian opened his mouth then suddenly everyone noes its my b'day...including my students...
so...my students for 5 Kindness decided to make and impromtu surprise for me...it was really2 sweet of them...was really touched....they decorated on the board and sang a b'day song for me...it was nice...=)

Of course throughout the day there were a couple of gifts left on my table either by my colleagues or student and some anonymous once...it was a nice feeling...=)...and the usual flooding of FB...heehee...after remedial met Dearie...had dinner at a hotel...expensive i must say...=P....it was a really romantic nite...

The next day...it was another celebration with Dearie's parents...they treat me to J's Wok And Grill for dinner...it was a nice dinner...and i tot that was it...bt apparently...the next2 day while me and Dearie was gg around TM...his parents were there and they had brought a gift for me...it was a Charles & Keith bag...really nice...i love it...i still cant believe they go to the trouble of getting me a gift...touched...=)

Next is of course the belated b'day with L.E.S.S...had dinner at Seoul Garden...then they surprise me with a gift...found it in my bag when i realise my bag was getting bulkier...haha...it was a nice surprise...it was a Guess bracelet...=D...i love it...then camwhored in front of the avocado thingy...heehee... a lovely day with my girls...<3

then there was the flashing incident...haha...=P...well...the story goes like this...it was a day where i happen to wear a low cut top...bt to compensate for that i wore my tudung lower to cover it up...it was successful...then came Amirah...while me,Suf and her was otw to lunch, Mr Azhari was asking about getting some cloth with Suf...then Amirah (trying to be funny) decided to swing my tudung up since its cloth...and there goes my chest and cleavage....exposed...to Suf and Mr Azhari...Mr Azhari immediately left the scene after that...that is the end of the story...

Then there was the poop incident for Farhana...it was funny...hahaha...so...suf's car smelled funny one day and we cnt think of the cause...and so...at the end of the day...while before i was carpooling home...Suf found the cause...it was at the back seat mat...where Farhana was sitting in the morning...it was cat poop...apparently Farhana had stepped on cat poop and got into the car...it was hilarious during the revelation...a good joke...if u're reading this...sorry Farhana...its a memory worth remembering so i had to typed it out...=P

Also...went nite cycling with Syaf,Suf and Farhana the other time...it was great until i crashed and busted my knee...heehee...i only realised that i was bleeding when i got home...ooh well...a fun day nonetheless...though i do feel that i led the team down cos they had to stop a lot because of me...so i kinda felt crappy...hopefully they had fun...

Then there was the other time after Sport's Carnival where i joined the P3 and P4 teachers playing boardgames at a cafe at Prinsep...it was fun...=P...and hung out with Syaf, Farhana and Suf after that...a great nite...

Then the other time went Johor with my sis, bros and lil dudes...the trip is actualy to tailor clothes with the fabric that we had...cnt wait to see the outcome...

Then on the 31 March it was Mrs Raju's last day...bt too bad didnt really had a final goodbye with her cos of the packed day i had cos it was the same day as the zoo trip with 3 Hope...i really missed her as my deskmate...she was a chirpy woman with witty jokes...i love talking to her...
may she have a great life ahead...=)

Then there was the bowling tournament for the houses...it was great...Yellow house rocked! thanks to Syaf and Amirah of course...hahaha...i was in top 10...quite delighted abt that...haha...

Then the other time celebrated Nafis's B'day at Swensens...after which we haed to Grandlink for a karaoke session...it was another fun day...=D love spending time with the guys...my bros from another mother...

Then just last week on the labour day weekend...went out with the guys again...Jelly, Apun and Dearie...Friskies was in camp so he didnt make it...bt the rest of us had a great day...spent the day till quite late..bt luckily didnt get into trouble with my mum cos i managed to get her a present...haha...went Vivo's Adidas cos Jelly's sis worked there and there was a sale in addition to a 40% off staff discount...so Jelly invited us to abuse the discount...then camwhored at the store...=P...followed by free Starbucks thanx to Apun...and dinner at Zam Zam...it was a great day cos i haven seen them in a while...love spending time with them...

Then...just a few days ago visited a student of mine at the hospital...really sad to see her in that state...so young yet so strong and brave...brought her some gifts...it was nice to see her smile on the second day...gonna visit her again tomorrow...

Elections over...all i cn say is...bullshit!...=P...ooh well...good luck to all for the next 5 yrs i suppose...

And i just realise wat i wanna really do in life...and i'm really serious about it...its gonna take a whole lot of planning and money...bt that's wat the next few years is for i suppose...i'm gonna open my own Halal cafe...and i'm gonna sell things that u dont usually find in Singapore...and i'm gonna make it an awesome place ever...so...i'm gonna be a teacher for a while...built my income and when everything is stable i'm gonna take a shot at this...running my own eatery had been a dream that i thought was impossible...bt i realise it is possible...for my passion of cooking...this i shall make my mission for the next few years...wish me luck ppl...=)

Of work, family and love

So...waddup everyone?

its the one week holiday...so...time to take a little breather...=D

so...let's update what has been happening...

Had a zoo recce trip the other time with my colleagues...mainly Mdm Za,Ms Nadiah, Mrs Seah, Mr Azhari, Terrence, Farhana, Amirah, Sufian and also not forgetting Mdm Aishah for actually coming to just drive half of us there...so nice of her...it was really nice...haven been to the zoo for quite some time actually...nice to see the place again...

then...been getting rather close to Mrs Raju, Farhana, Amirah and Sufian...its easy for me to talk to them really....n i like that cos all this while i tot i'm out of place...been really fun just joking around with them...being the youngest there always made me second guess myself alot...bt i finally feel at home...and we're gonna go bowling tmr!...cnt wait for that...=D

The other time we also surprised Mrs Raju during PLT with a farewell cake...and had our sharing of how this term had been like...=)

then last week of skool i gave my two P5 classes gummy bears and gummy worms...haha...just to let them take a chill pill since holidays are coming and they need a break...=P...

then...the day after zoo recce, found this on my table...it was the sweetest gesture by my student...so thoughtful...=)

Then on Friday went camping with my family...it was great for me and my 2 lil dudes bt others didnt seem to enjoy it much i tink...bt i'm glad my nephews love the outdoors like i do...i love it when the 3 of us grabbed a bucket of M&Ms, a glass of water, 2 torchlights and a mat...and went to the sand in the middle of the nite and just sat and enjoyed the breeze and looking at the sky and clouds peacefully...i guess the others have been living urbanly too long to appreciate the nature of camping...

then yesterday went out with Dearie in the afternoon...watched Rango...a really nice show...i love the graphic of this movie...really detailed and precise...bt not for kids though...just cos it needs a lot of understanding...then...during dinner at Swensens... Dearie surprised me with a ring...dont worry...he didnt propose!...haha...it was just a gift and it had Paua shell on it...my favourite stone...it was really sweet of him...=)....

after that i shopped for my New Balance running shoes and swimming pants...=D...the pants were really cool...it was swimming suit pants bt it was skirted...and its soo much nicer than the muslimah ones...and this actually covered up equally as the muslimah ones bt looks more stylish...haha...=P...

For the shoe and the swimming pants i bought, i got this Adidas eco bag and a $15 Sportlink voucher...=D

so...that's pretty much it for now...tata...=P

Halfway Gone

so...i've been gone almost a month...busy and lazy tat's all...heehee =P

i noe there's a lot that happened bt i really cnt recall most of it now...let's see how this goes alright...

- i remembered a P2 student went missing under my care...it was crazy and it felt horrible...i cn say i'm at fault on a technicality bt hey....u cnt really expect much from the untrained...bt it was an eye opener as to how serious my job cn get...so...it was a good experience...and i learnt a LOT!...=)

- After the missing child incident, i caught a fever and went for a 2 day MC...my first MC as a teacher...=D...

- Next that i remember wud be CNY celebration at GMSP...everyone was dressed up nicely...Farhana looked like Chun-Li in a good way...she had on a nice blue cheongsam top... Sufian looked like an Indonesian ambassador...hahaha...we also surprised Fiza for her B'day...=D After that me, Amirah, Farhana and Sufian grabbed some lunch at Simpang Bedok...

- Then there was Mummy's 60th b'day surprise...it was the first day of CNY and we went to my sis's house to surprise my mum...me with the cake took a cab so that i reached first before my mum did...then everything was ready =D...of course my mum was pissed off at first before she reached cos i went out of our house first to supposedly "meet" a friend...knowing that it was suppose to be a day spent with family...bt of course that was just a lie so that i cud get the cake and reach my sis's house first...=D...then there was the cycling-till-cramp adventure...;P

- the next event that i remembered wud be Kite flying....i found out i was pretty good at it...heehee...and Dearie sucked at it...=P...we went kite flying at the field that was beside the overhead bridge that connected Pasir Ris and Tamp area...a nice area to just chill out...with the nice breeze...bright blue sky...the smell of grass...all nature...i like!...a great place for a picnic too...

- then there was Jonny's farewell which after much planning of going i didnt even get to go cos of the stupid thing i had to do for work...thanx to the last minute task given by the ***....the saddest part was we made the card thingy which i stayed up till quite late to do and i didnt even get to see him receive it...had to pass it to Essy and she passed it to him...so...called him on the phone and had a short convo before he had to go off...and an even horrible part was the parent workshop thingy was a disaster and it wasn't even our fault...bt she didnt see it tat way apparently...*****...so...oh well...missing Jonny already...

- Also...there was the skit assignment and newspaper assignment which i gave my P5 SS students to do...and they did it well!...i'm so happy with their enthusiasm...

- ooh...then there was my observation bt Ms Wong for my art class...i'm really happy it wasnt disastrous at all...it actually went better than i tot...so...alhamdullilah!...

-Then there was Nurul's 5th b'day party...me and Dearie bought her a floral dress...=D

- Of course there were movies that we watched Love & Other Drugs, Just Go With It and No Strings Attached...i love Just Go With It!...hilarious movie...

- Also...Been carpooling with Farhana, Amirah and Sufian for the past month...its been fun!...distressing before reaching school...=D

- And i've been planning to buy a Macbook Air during this coming March IT show...and as of today...i hv decided to put it on hold cos i need to save up for the June holidays...let's announce it officially right here... *imagine American-Idol-getting-the-yellow-ticket-moment* I'm going to Los Angeles!...hahaha...woohoo...i'm really excited abt it!...it cost me a bomb though...which is why i need to save up...once in a lifetime opportunity....=D...gg with my family...technically we'll be gg to 3 cities: Los Angeles, California ; Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada...sis already made the final booking today...10Days 7Nights...Thai Airways... =D =D =D....cnt wait baby!...

Busy like a bee

So...been gone for quite a while...been really busy since skool reopened what with lesson plans and all...so...wat's up...let's see...a few things to update abt....

firstly is the dinner at The Carousel with family in dec...i noe...so late...bt better late than never rite?...heehee...the food there was okey....expensive ingredients for sure...from lobsters to crayfish to baby quails to a whole lot of cheese to a whole lot of desserts...bt taste wise? hmm...somehow i prefer the cheaper food at hawker centres and other restaurants...they taste more flavourful than wat i had at Carousel...bt...the dessert is hands down AWESOME...i like!...=D...pics are all in FB...lazy to upload here...=D

then...there was the blow-wind-blow exercise in skool...this just basically meant the change of seats of some of the staff including me and Shahidah...i moved to Yan Xi's place to join the P3 teachers since i'm taking P3...

Also....i got my timetable...i'm floating...that means on mon and tues i'm both in the AM and PM session...will be teaching P1,2 & 5 Social Studies, P3 English, P4 Art and P5 Health Ed...

and i'm in Art Club...=D...its been a hell of a week cos i'm still new to all the teachings and procedures cos so far i've just been doing lots of relief...bt its been quite fun too...bt tiring!...still adjusting...thank god for really great colleagues...

niwae...so...the other time Dearie surprised me with Garrett's popcorn outside my doorstep...its really nice...i love it!...the first time i tasted it was at USS when Fiza introduced it to me... awesome stuff man...

Then the other time ate at Botak Jones again with Dearie...the fish wasn't that nice... bt the chili cheese fries was potent man...delicious stuff!...

and Spieynan returned from Aussie holiday and bought lots of good stuff...he bought me a Ripcurl bag!...=D love it...also...he bought me chocolates though that was actually my request...and the greatest thing he bought was 1kg worth of fresh berries which he actually picked from a farm...made up of boysenberries,raspberries, blackberries and red currants....and of course my itchy hands cannot sit still so...i made berries crumble!...awesome stuff!...i like!....=D

also...bought 2 books...which is something i never thought i wud do...bt i didnt hv a choice cos there's library period in skool and i hv to read...bloody hell...heehee...i'm not a reader really...so...since i hv to read i chose books which i wud enjoy and that is from the crime genre only....heehee....so...the 2 books i bought were...John Grisham's The Last Juror & Karin Slaughter's Genesis...we'll see how long i spent reading these 2 books...heehee...

So....waddup!...

well...went Orchard with Dearie the other time so that i cn see the christmas lights...=) and we dressed up...for once...hahaha...cos we dont really care to dress up when we go town...we dont believe that ppl shud dress up when they go town...its just another place really...unless there's an event la...bt anyways...we decided to dress up this time round cos we haven dressed up for anything in a while...=D...

so...went Orchard first and straight to Swensen's at ION cos i was starving...ate and then we walked around...the lights were very pretty...blue and white...my favourite combination!... heehee....so...we walked A LOT!...went Far East Plaza and i bought belts for myself...

after which we walked more to Somerset...then we walked more till we reached Plaza Singapura...there we went Spotlight and Starhub and Daiso...Spotlight to find elastic string for me to make my bracelets...Starhub cos Spideynan wanted me to buy something and Daiso cos i need to find laundry net...heehee...and i'm so gonna go Daiso again...its awesome!...

after that train-ed home...thank u Dearie for walking A LOT with me...=P

Bond like no other

So...on Monday met up with Essy,Syu,Jonny...Edwin,Joe and Dearie was there too... had dinner at Wendy's...Lyly couldn't join us...i miss u Lyly!...

So...these few days had been a bonding session for me and sis...i'm kinda a grown up now so we cn hang out and have girly times together and its been fun cos all this while i've been the lil sis that is still unemployed and needs to be paid for...bt now i cn pay for myself and treat her instead to repay for all the things she has pampared me with...=D

So...first up...3D Rapunzel with my sis and the 2 lil dudes...it was such an enjoyable movie...great to watch with the kids...glad they enjoyed it...=P...after with we went Popeye's for lunch...

next day me and sis went to a muslimah saloon at Tmart to hv our hair cut...the cut was fine...bt the hairstylist talk non-stop man...and she kept trying to push her products to us...i mean...if it was hair products i guess its quite reasonable la huh since most saloon do that...bt the thing she was selling was health products...annoying...heehee...bt anyways...now my hair is shoulder length and trimmed...i like!...

thurs...made an impulse decision to go Tmall with the lil dudes,sis and mum...we were bored so why not...=D...and i bought a nice dress for only 10bux...=D

so...then yesterday went Sim Lim Square Dearie cos the night before i was looking at my usual "Sales" blog and there was a portable hard disk on sale...and also the headset that i've been eyeing...so...went and bought iboth of it....=D...Dearie also found the headset he wanted and bought it too!...and so...we went Bugis street to see if there's anything nice to buy....was looking for bags....bt nth nice there...Dearie found a cap for himself though....loads of nice top bt quite ex i find them...

so...we anyway...went back Tamp and go the the pasar malam that had opened last week...and boughpt sunglasses and bag...=D...i like!...we really shopped the hell out of ourselves...and i like a lot!...=P

well...tmr gg Orchard with Dearie cos i wanna see the Christmas lights and out of randomness we decided to dress up really nice tmr...something we dont usually do cos we are usually the "slack-dress-how-we-like" kind...heehee...cnt wait for that...

so...like i said in my last entry...my lil bro enlisted in Tekong a few days ago...n i wud like to thank Dearie for being our tour guide and giving my lil bro some pointers... anyway...more of this later...i'll talk about the day before he enlist...

we had a farewell lunch at Swensens courtesy of my sis....after that me, sis and the 2 lil dudes went geylang for some scarf shopping...=D...we had our sisters bonding session...i like!...heehee

and after shopping went Botak Jones at simpang bedok...i cnt believe i haven't been there really...the food there is awesome!...and also great service...i ordered the steak and the guy who brought it to me was like "Wud you pls check if the steak is cooked to your liking?" i mean even restaurants with service don't care to ask la k....and we don't even need to pay any service charge here...AWESOME!...and the food... AAAAWWWWEEEESSSSOOOOMMMMEEEE.... heehee...its really nice....Dearie ordered The Massive Sunrise...and it was really2 massive...such a huge burger man...worth every penny...glad they made a halal outlet...=D

So...been quite busy with lots of things...been going back to school to do the unit plans and SOWs...bt its been quite a fun week cos i work in my cubicle freely...my own way...snacking while working...listening to music...its fun...=)

so...the other time...met up with Aini and Khad when Starbux was giving out free drinks...=D... after which we went Popeye's for dinner...it was fun catching up...haven seen khad for a long time already...so it was nice...miss that girl's wit...after dinner accompanied Aini to trim the damaged part of her hair after a bad perm...while Aini was having her hair washed, me and khad decided to be girls...and wat do we do? we camwhored!...heehee...bt i'll just pose one pic here cos lazy to upload so much...=D...

also...i got a caricature of myself...heehee...okey...random...i noe...fine...let's move on...

the next event wud be Latifah's wedding...a colleague of mine...went with Dearie...it was a very grand ceremony man...bt very blissful indeed...Congrats to the Happy Couple!...

a few days ago i collected the ice cream log cake from Swensen's for the family...its Cappuccino Raisin! nx log cake is on the 26th Dec for Dearie's parents...=)

then just now spent some quality time with my lil dudes...had our lunch at McD...then went toys r us so they can browse through the toys and pick one each...so when my pay comes...it'll be their new toy for the holidays! u noe...despite just getting their b'day presents 2 weeks ago which are also toys!...heehee...and this is why i'm their favourite aunt!...=P

so....tmr is gonna be a farewell lunch for lil bro cos he'll enlist on Fri...so gonna miss a lot...he'll usually be the one i hv random conversations with...and he'll make me feel safe when i stay up cos he stays up late too...well...NS ruins all relationships anyway...from boy/girl to family...stupid NS!...

So...wazzup ppl!...

Been having the coughing bug since last week...i've sounded like a dude...i've sounded sexy...or sounded just plan disturbing...heehee... =P

so anyway...this week had been pretty slack cos i just go to skool for workshops and meetings and sharings...bt highlight of the week wud b visiting RSW/USS as part of the learning experential symposium for all teachers...bt the learning was only like 10% of it...most of it was just teachers unwinding and going wild...heehee...and the real fun really started when it was free and easy time...;P

so...we practically visited all the attractions they have not including rides that are mainly for kids such as the "merry go round" type rides cos it wasnt just gonna make us dizzy and tat's all...

so anyway...the day began with briefing at the AVA room by the guides and after that we split up into the 4 groups...blardy blardy bla we rode the bus and finally reached out destination...=P

so...we went around looking at the art displays and statues...it was kinda cool...i''m not really someone who do all this bt it was nice...to appreciate all the displays...and they cost a bomb man!...

so...then...we went to our first attraction called "Lights, Camera, Action" by Steven Spielberg...it was a hurricane simulation sorta like a scene from"The Day After Tomorrow"...bt it was really cool cos it seems so real with all the effects, flames, explosion and all...really cool stuff!

this was then followed by another show called "Waterworld"...this was an awesome performance! i enjoyed it a lot...the choreography of the stunts was great...great corrdination and also the effects, the skiing and the explosions...AWESOME!...full of action...i like!..

after that was lunch...we ate at "Goldilocks"...didnt really like it...the food wasnt nice really... thank god it was FOC for us since it was part of the packag...cos it was quite pricey and it did not even taste good...so...note to self...Goldilocks? a No-No... =P

after lunch we watched "Shrek 4D"...it was nice...a fun experience with the moving seats and 3D view and all...

Next was "Donkey Live"...its like a stand up comedy club thingy...bt it was quite hilarious... there was these Japanese couple that was sorta "married off" by Donkey...funny shit man...it was total awkwardness...funny!...

after that we debrief and stuff and it was free and easy time! Shahidah went back cos she wasnt into all this...so i met up with the rest (Fiza, Farhana, Hidayat, Sufian, Melvin, Kristin and Terence) and had the time of my life...Melvin went off halfway...so left the 7 of us...Fiza was our official guide of the day since she knows everything there is to noe abt the entire place...

so...first ride of the day was "Enchanted Airways"...it started the ball rolling since i am a roller-coasters-height-speed-backward-roller-coaster-phobic person...this ride was fun really!...scary at first for me...bt it was great!

next up was the infamous "Return of the Mummy" ride...the ride i had trouble trying to go...cos its in the dark and when i was reaching the end point of the queue, i found out there was some backward motions...crap! rite?...heehee...bt i manage to pull through with all the support from the rest...heehee...and i'm so glad i did...cos it was a hell of a ride!...enjoyed it a lot!

the next ride was the "Canopy Flyer"...another ride that literally made me bite my fingernails in fear while queue-ing cos u're practically hanging in the air and i hv a problem with tat...bt thanks to the rest for giving me emotional and mental support...and i did it!...it wasnt scary at all as it turned out cos the scenery was too beautiful...heehee =P

Next we did the "Enchanted Airways" again cos there was some technical difficulty with the "Rapids Adventure" ride...

and finally we waited till the "Rapids Adventure" was on again and we rode it...TWICE!... heehee...the first time, everyone had their ponchos on...and we realised it wasnt really that helpful so the second time we rode it, we just went poncho-less except for Terence and Hidayat who still insisted on ponchos...Sufian was drenched the worst...i dont noe why really...most of us were poncho-less...bt he seemed to have some buckets of water specially splashed at him tat we didnt see...perhaps cos of his "Please keep your cameras away" incident...hahaha...hilarious ride it was...

so...that was the last of the rides..after all had freshen up we monorail-ed back to Vivo and had dinner at Banquet...after which all of us train-ed back home...

Thank you so much to Fiza, Farhana,Kristin, Hidayat, Sufian and Terence for such a fun time...enjoyed it a lot! ....tat was the end of an awesome day...it was my first time hanging out with them actually for like almost the whole day and it was great!...wudnt' mine doing it again...perhaps nx time a roadtrip?... =D

hate being at home...

u wan me to be home but when i am u dont even say a word to me...so why bother...i'd rather be out with my frens and bf who appreciate me just like that...

of course when i was a teenager its easy for me to obey all the rules...bt guess wat...i'm a grown up now so stop treating me like a child...i was forced to grow up faster than others cos of all the problems u had with others and suddenly u wan treat me like a child...

we're are drifting apart cos of ur own actions...u dont talk to me when i try to start a conversation... and if u do talk to me its because u wan me to do something...that doesn't count as a conversation... and if u do talk to me its all abt religion...why?...i'm a girl...it shud be easy for u to talk to me...guess wat...u're not even trying...so...i dont give a damn anymore...and stop saying that we dont listen to u cos all u do is nag abt things that are not even important and not worth listening to...

u wan me to be home...then give me a reason to stay at home...when i'm at home u dont talk to me...might as well i stay out and hv a good conversation my frens and actually learn something...

u're not suppose to control any of us anymore...we're now adults...so treat us like one...we shouldn't hv curfews anymore...all u need to noe is where we are...

and stop saying we treat u like a maid cos guess wat...i'm the one doing all the laundry even after a tired day at work...nan washes the toilet and vacuum the house even if he is tired...all u do is cook and go to the market...last time i check all mums do tat cos that is their responsibility so stop complaining abt it...

sick of home...when i'm home i only look forward to watching tv and have a conversation with my bros...never with u...

So...it's been awhile huh...

well...a lot hv happened...watched Due Date with Dearie the other time...it was a hilarious movie...nice to laugh over...then...had dinner at BBQ chicken at Pasir Ris...it was our first time eating there...and can i say...it was awesome!...the food is so freaking good!...time for food porn!...heehee =P

Spicy Wings...not really spicy...bt i like the taste...plus its very tender!...

My mushroom chicken chop!...the best chicken chop i've ever tasted and the mash potatoe...YUMMAY!

I'm telling u man...BBQ chicken...good food! =D

Anyway...last weekend went for another Family Day...my bro in law's at Jurong Bird Park...it was fun!...its been a while since i actually spent time with my lil dudes and finally i did...i miss them so much cos ever since started working....i didnt get to see them...anyways...enjoy the pics...

Went shopping with Dearie...it was awesome...i haven shopped in S'pore in a while... most of my last pay was used to pay bills and debts...so...this month's pay was for shopping!...heehee... bought Cotton On long sleeves...something which i hv been aiming to buy since i last had money in my bank...

then went Robinson's sale at Expo...bought a lot of lingerie!...heehee...something which i had been planning to invest on...heehee...they're very nice!...bought bags also...Dearie got himself an Adidas windbreaker...

Dearie also got me four more dress tops...i'm lovin shopping! =D =D

then just now...just ordered 2 ice cream log cakes for my family and Dearie's...cnt wait to take it...for my family i chose Cappucino Raisin for 5 Dec...its a surprise for my family cos i haven really treat them to anything yet!...so...shh...for Dearie's family i chose Nutty Mania for 26 Dec cos Dearie's mummy's B'day is on the 27th...so...this is another surprise!...=D

Lastly for this entry...bought the lil dudes their b'day presents!...heehee...look at those happy faces... =P...there's nothing better than bringing joy to those u love...=)

So anyway...wat has happened this week and last week?...mainly...

met up with Aini the other time...catch up with life and accompanied her to buy some stuff...it was fun!...

then...last Sat went to Spideynan's S'pore Power Family Day...i noe...i hv a thing for family day... heehee...so me and Dearie got the extra tickets and enjoyed the day of fun...it was at Sentosa... and of course there was my favourite part of family day events...the Carnival Games!...heehee...i noe...i love Family Day events...i'm weird like that...=P played lots of games...and won lots of things...it was fun! and also...we went to the Underwater World!...we haven gone there together...and the last time we went was centuries ago...heehee...so...it was fun...though it was pretty crowded...

then another main part of last week was making a wedding gift for Izhar and Leeza!... heehee... me and my bros has a thing about making infrastructures using chocolates and any other tidbits...so...we decided to make a S'pore Flyer out of tidbits for Izhar's wedding...heehee... it was a random idea...it took us just a few seconds to decide that we want to embark on this project... heehee... so...Spideynan was the designer and i was the builder...it was a fun thing to do...and the best thing was Izhar like it!... heehee...it was great to make someone's day!...and the wedding is this weekend! Congrats to the happy couple!

So...wazzup ppl...

This week and last week has been quite a laid back week...

Last week got my pay finally...heehee...the first real pay...and so that's hw i celebrated Dearie's b'day...

its been great being financially more stable than i used to be cos now i cn pay off my bill on time...start saving up for rainy days and no more having to borrow money from my bros just to top up my ez-link...and i'm so happy tat i've already paid off most of my debts!... =)

and now i hv a MySavings account with POSB...its cool u noe...they will help u with ur savings by taking out a certain amount of money that u hv chose and the specific date that u hv also chose every month and put it in another account so u dont need to go through the hassle of transferring money from one account to another... =)

Last weekend was fun cos finally met up with the guys...its been a while since we hung out cos of NS confinements and stuff...watch Child's Eye with Apun, Friskies and Dearie...Dearie's first horror movie with me...heehee...bt i cn safely say the movie sucks...storyline was weak and there was barely any horror...

then on Sunday had lunch at West Gate!...its been a while...it held great memories for all of us...and it was great watching all of them just laughing and having fun talking about the good old times...i missed that...after that went karaoke with Apun, Friskies, Jelly and Dearie...it was bloody fun...Jelly was vocally tortured cos Dearie picked challenging songs and made him sing... heehee...poor Jelly...i finally sang something...unlike the previous karaoke session...i sang The Beatles' Twist and Shout, Mohabatein's Humko Humise, Shakira's Waka Waka and Britney Spear's Hit Me Baby One More Time...heehee...it was fun... =P

then...this whole week was pretty relaxed...its PSLE marking so i only conducted remedials from 8-9.15 after which all of us hv to stay till 4pm doing watever u need to which for me is nothing... heehee...the sucky part abt this week wud be Dearie is confined the whole week...including today and he will only book out tmr at 10pm...haven met him in a week...stupid NS!...

bt i finally met up with Essy! miss this woman so much...had dinner together and talk nonsense... its been a while since i got to do that since i'm surrounded by adults at work who cn be pretty serious at times and it was fun to just unwind and just laughed like crazy over my kind of jokes...heehee...bt i still miss the rest!...Syu, Lyly and Jonny!...i miss u!...heehee...and u too Aini!....

then...the other day bought first item using my pay...a new pair of shoes!...and its super comfortable as hell...i like!... =D

So...9 Oct was Dearie's b'day...he turned 22!...

so...my initial surprise was to bring him to Botak Jones for his B'day lunch...bt apparently he was craving for MFM...so off we went to MFM instead and shared our usual platter...bt we had their mocktail that day...it was nice! also...at the beginning of the day surprised with a king-sized Hershey's Cookies and Creme Bar...his favourite!...

after which we were thinking of watching a movie...bt apparently the movies suck then...no good movies at all...so we went Tamp...and decided to hv dessert at Secret Recipe!...Oreo Cheesecake for Dearie!...his favourite...

then we just chilled out and hang out...

then...after a few days...i surprised him with another b'day lunch at Swensens!...heehee...yes...we love to eat!...:P

So...wazzup...haven updated since 2 weeks ago cos last weekend i was in KL!... heehee...satisfying trip...finally shopped like crazy...and also ate like crazy...heehee...

bt i still cant forget the highlight of the trip man...so...we took the public train rite... basically its like Singapore's MRT...bt guess wat happened...

so...we wanted to stop at this particular stop which was just the next stop actually... so...when the train was approaching the station we stand at the door to go out la rite...but the train just kept moving!...it didnt stop...apparently they forget to stop at that stop...hahahahaha..."wth moment" rite?...so...at the next next stop that it actually stopped at we decided to tell the ticket counter wat happened cos our ticket is a one way ticket that cud only be used the "unstopped" stop...the person was like... "ooh okey...go through here and crossover and take the train back to that station"...he was so relax as if it happens everyday like tat...ridiculously hilarious man...if that were to happen in singapore...i tink SMRT kena sue already la...hahaha....so funny....tat's the 1st man...

anyway...bought Dearie Subway...he's first try...heehee...

bt the trip was great cos i finally bought the dresses that i've been searching for since last yr...finally found it...will be wearing one of it tmr for Dearie's b'day!...He's turning 22 tmr!... heehee

skool-wise...its been normal...nth much...did some invigilation...and just got invited to a BBQ organised by the malay teachers...its all good u noe...perhaps one day i'll post a pic of my desk...heehee :P...cnt wait for payday...bill and debts to settle...heehee :P

So...a lot have happened...its been a few weeks since i last updated...so...let's see...been very busy since i started working...plus with all the visiting and entertaining during this hari raya period...its been pretty hectic...especially since i just got "reactivated" after being dormant since May...heehee

so...anyway...let's talk about work first...its been 2 weeks now...ad everyone has been so nice...always helping and answering my enquiries without reluctance...the children are also fun...bt they are more challenging than secondary school in terms of trying to discipline cos they are still young and impressionable...

the great thing about being in a primary school is...the bloody cheap food...heehee :P
and so far the worst thing about it is...i hv to wake up at 5.15am every morning...heehee...still adjusting to waking up early cos i've been sleeping late for 4 months...tat calls for a major adjustment to my body clock...heehee :P

tmr is children's day celebration...and guess wat...i'm in a skit!...the skit is basically a bunch of teachers acting like students...i'll be playing alongside my colleague, 2 bff who likes to go toilet...and i'll be dressing up in the school uniform...they have adult size version...and i still wonder why...heehee

so...anyway...went visiting with the family the other time...first time ever joined by my aunties, uncles and cousins...it was very kecoh...bt fun...cos not much awkwardness...just laughter...that's wat hari raya shud be about...i still get green packets cn u believe that...heehee... :P

1st day of raya food was as usual awesome!... heehee...bt surprisingly i tink i lost weight...most probably cos i haven been eating properly... sometimes lunchtime in skool i'll just skip it cos didnt hv much appetite or lazy to go eat...so i'll just hv one meal which is dinner cos i dont eat breakfast too... :P...

I'm not fat k...its the outfit!... :P

then...the other rode the S'pore Flyer with Dearie for free...thanx to the Big Walk free ticket thingy...for those who haven rode it yet...my advice is to ride at nite cos its very beautiful and romantic...in the daylight the view will suck i tink...

also...went for the teaching preparatory programme...its almost the same as the the workshop that i had to take for my TIP...bt nevertheless...i learnt a lot and made some new frens...it was cool...

So...tmr is Hari Raya

like last yr...my sis weaved the ketupat and sent it to us to cook it...and my bros are doing the hard work cos we boil the ketupats over charcoal in the kitchen...we have those old skool "dapur arang" thingy...and its really smoking the house up...heehee...

Hari Raya for me is just another day except that the house is nicer, there's very nice food and ppl look nicer...i mean...sure for others with very happy families they can enjoy it...bt for mine...not so much...i just hope it ends early...so we cn get on with our lives and not hv to deal with unresolved issues...

the one thing i'm looking forward to is the KL trip in Oct!...heehee...cnt wait...=P

Date Night

So...the other time i had fever for like 4 days...then followed by 2 days of annoying nose...heehee... bt i'm back at full health nw!...alhamdullilah...

so...it was our 38th monthsary and we had the most perfect date ever...heehee...the only exception was i still had my flu...bt it didnt ruin anything...it actually made it all the more perfect...so... Dearie's initial plan was to break fast at Popeye's cos that's wat he promised when i was down with fever...so...1st stop was Dearie's house cos his mum had muruku to pass to me and i had serunding and chocolate chip cookies to pass to his parents...after which we headed to Popeye's...when we reached there somehow we didnt want to eat there...so...off we go out trying to decided where to go...

and in the end we ate at swensens...and they had like a dinner special where for 10 additional bux we get a soup,drink,side order and a scoop of ice cream...so...we went on with it...and somehow...this dinner date was perfect...the service was superb cos everything came at the right time and i didnt even have to rush to eat anything...Each dish came one by one when i slowly finished my food...and if u noe me well u noe i'm a very very slow eater...heehee...and when the place gt too cold Dearie lent me his jacket...and Dearie made me laughed so hard...its been a while since we had such a great time together...it was a perfect meal...plus...when we're done and gg home it was drizzling and very very cold so...we held each other's hand and me taking cover in the jacket to keep warm...

it was the most romantic walk home ever...adding the cold, the drizzling rain, the faint headlights... spells perfect!...

had such a great time with u sweetie... =)

So...hadn't updated in a while...been pretty busy...my mum really made full use of me being a girl/growing lady...heehee...so here goes...

I had 2 big bean bag seats and my mum told me to make one of the bean bags into cushions cos its taking too much space...so...i sow...my mum gave me the fabric and it became 4 cushions...

and finally...i got my posting for my "untrained" teacher thingy...posted to Geylang Methodist Primary...its not that near...bt not too far either...i'm just glad that there's a one way transport and the fact that the skool is rite next to the train station...so...its quite convenient...I'll be teaching English and Mathematics apparently....i noe... mathematics?...me?...heehee...they'll regret putting me in it...heehee...bt...i guess... primary skool maths cnt be that bad...rite?...hmm...heehee :P

anywho...so...i'm suppose to report to the skool at 7am on Monday...so...hopefully everything goes well...now i hv to wake up like a regular person...no more late nite movie marathons...heehee :P

So...let's blog today... :D

hmm...a few days ago was my make up brushes cleaning day...yes...i was bored... :D...anyway...i took a picture of all the make up and brushes tat i own...heehee... :P

So anyways...already started baking hari raya cookies...started the ball rolling with pineapple tart with added cheddar cheese...bt u cnt really taste it significantly cos i didnt add a lot of it...bt it does add to the savoury-ness and saltiness...

and the one thing i've always loved about making my own pineapple tarts is....it doesn't hv that generic shape of store bought pineapple tarts...mine is unique... :P

i fill it with Hershey's chocolate sauce and strawberry puree...good for dessert when breaking fast... :D

Also...i made my mum's Rempeyek...with cashews!...heehee :D...this is my mum's secret recipe and i love it...nw i noe hw to make it....a tradition had just been pass down successfully... :D

Yesterday...i made my honey cornflakes...my lovely sweet cups...i love this hari raya treat so much...i'll always eat these during visiting...love them!...if u hv it at ur home...i'll find it man... :D

So...that's pretty much wat i've been busy with these pass few days...then the other time i went Ikea with mummy and lil dude 1 to buy a new dining table set...very simple and very nice and most importantly very cheap... :P...

so...lil dude 1 wanted to play at the Ikea children's play area and apparently its quite an official process and u hv to be at least 18 to leave a child there...so...the aunty who handles the entries look at me and this was our conversation :

so...waddup ppl...just felt like blogging today... :D

yesterday break fast at Simpang with Dearie, Apun, Jelly, Friskies and Yogi...heehee... i noe...my frens sounds like characters from some new animated series... :P ....Poor Jelly didnt get his food at all and it was already 8+ so he was kinda pissed and he cancelled his order...then we decided to go geylang and Yogi went hm...

Dearie was browsing for a Baju Kurung that matches with my existing kebaya and it's cyan in colour...apparently he loves me in that kebaya very much and dont mind getting a matching one for himself...he's pretty much the source for my excitement for this Hari Raya...other than that there's nth much that i look for this Raya...apart from Raya-ing with my frens...

so...all of us walked2...and this yr's bazaar isn't great really...very boring...nt much stuff...

then...today started making the pineapple tart filling...grated the pineapple...and it was 4 pineapples!... :D

i hv not been a fan of Hari Raya for quite some time...cos it always sucks...for my family at least...i wud love if my family is the kind where all the cousins and aunties and uncles wud rent a huge lorry and go visiting together and enjoying themselves... bt too bad...that's never gonna happen...some of my family dont even talk to each other...festive huh...

ooh well...i'm gonna enjoy the fun of preparing for the dreadful day while it lasts!... heehee...

its been a while huh?...its the 3rd day of fasting already...so fast...27 more days to go...so...i dont really remember much over the past few weeks...i kept postponing blogging nw i cnt remember much...heehee...

let's see...the National Day holiday period was fun...my mum was overseas so i took care of all the housework and cooking...then i go hang out with Dearie...

then on National Day itself met up with Dearie...then chill out with Apun and Jelly....then Friskies joined...the whole afternoon we were trying to figure out wat to do...it was hilarious...cos we cant tink of anything to do...there were a whole lot of idea bt we cnt agree on one...bowling la...karaoke la...pool la...we spent over 2hrs trying to decide wat to do...heehee...then in the end we played pool at Downtown...

it was very fun...its been a while since we last hung out all 5 of us...plus Apun will be gg to Taiwan nx friday and will only be back on the 2nd day of Raya...so...we're trying to make the best out of the time he has...bt it was a bloody fun pool session...Friskies was being a bloody joker...heehee...it was hilarious...

that's pretty much wat i cn remember so far...heehee...

hmm...i cnt wait to start my cookie making engine...heehee...my hands now very itchy to start baking...the only thing that stands between the cookies and my hands are the fact that my mum haven't buy the ingredients yet...heehee...so...i'll just keep u at the edge of ur sit for now... :D

so...nth much has been happening actually...just more marathons of Tales from the Crypt...such a classic series...my childhood favourite horror series...heehee...for those who actually noe wat this show is abt u might tink its pretty screwd for it to be a childhood thing...heehee...sooo not suitable for kids...

then...didnt get the temp job for HPB...too bad...ooh well...more marathons... :P

went Expo the other time for Nisfu Syaaban celebration...i like going to such events... always makes me feel calm and peaceful...

3 more days of fasting i need to pay back...yay!...doable!...nt like last time...heehee... :P

and i'm so psyched abt the coming fasting month! heehee...cnt wait for it really...its the only time my family eat as a family...so its quite special...and there's always good food at home during these period...and the best of all...i get to make Hari Raya cookies!...heehee...been doing it since i was in Primary Six....heehee...its kinda my thing and i love doing it...its a tradition for me to make the cookies every year... despite O levels or any other stuff...i will always find time to make the cookies... :D

and i've already made a list of cookies to make this year...bt haven finalised yet...nid to check with mum for availability of ingredients... :D

its funny...i'm always very excited abt making the cookies bt i'm not excited abt Hari Raya... unless its with my frens and Dearie....family wise?...always never looked forward to it...my family dynamics...let's just say its not Hari Raya material...the only thing tat always happen are silence and awkwardness...the only thing i cnt wait to do is to see my lil dudes...they've been the apple of my eye... heehee...they're always full of joy...something which the adults lack...

ooh well...cnt wait for Fasting month...less than 2 weeks away!... :P i'll be a cookie making monster...plus...i'll be super duper free...so i cn make my cookie as perfect as possible with much love!

So...i just finished an awesome brunch meal...heehee...its actually very simple to make...and out of boredom i'm actually gonna show u how to make it... :D

U'll need:

a 2-egg omelette with salt and dried mixed herbs (made up of sage, bay leaves, basil and rosemary)

3pc bread

cheddar cheese

tomato puree

dried oregano

tartar sauce

margarine

sauteed onion slices (saute till they turn brown and soft and sweet = caramelized!)

black pepper

salt

it'll be even more awesome if u have mushrooms so u cn saute it and add to the layers...yummy!

bt i didnt hv any mushrooms so...u cn do w/o it too... :D

So...first layer is made by spreading margarine on the bread and place half of the omelette sprinkled with black pepper...then topped with cheese slices...then put this into the toaster and toast till the bread becomes crispy and cheese melted....

Then...place the sauteed onions on top of the toasted 1st layer...next...spread some tartar sauce...

the 2nd layer is made by spreading some tomato puree on the bread and sprinkle some oregano...then place the other half of the omelette...topped with cheese slices...then toast this layer...again till bread is crispy and cheese has melted...then spread more tartar sauce on top...

Finally...complete the sandwich by putting a toasted piece of bread with margarine on top...

Indulge!

Complete the meal with a can of blueberry tea!...that's how i do it! :D

So...tat's hw u make an incredible brunch...all of the ingredients needed cn be substituted with other stuff to follow ur own taste...this was wat's available in my refrigerator...heehee...

Walking the talk

so...Sunday was the Big Walk!...its a 5km walk...or so it seems...

woke up at 5.30am...which is so drastic for me...heehee...then me and my bros made our way there...met up with Spideynan's friends first...we reached there late by half an hour actually... heehee...

the place was quite confusing...there were no indications where the meeting point was...so all of us walked for like 1km to find the place...n when we reached the starting point...we found out that we hv to take the goodie bag first...so...off we went to the goodie back area which was like 500m away from the starting point...then...walk back to the starting point and started the actual walk...so...tat's another additional 1km...heehee...

the walk was okey...then finish already...Spideynan went off with his friends...so me and lil bro made our way to find the MRT station...we got lost along the way bt only cos of the stupid road closure and construction which made it all the more confusing cos we can't walk through them...so...we have to take the longer route...that was at least 3km walk man...plus it was drizzling...

finally we found the MRT station...train-ed back...walked home...and finally reached home...my ankles hurt like hell...just cos i wore pumps...heehee...shouldn't hv done that...my feet were killing me...so...we walked abt 10km...big indeed...heehee...plans to meet up with Dearie was cancelled cos i cn hardly walked without looking like Mas Selamat...heehee...i took a nap instead... :P

Weekend getaway

So...been out a lot for the past few days...

Thurs met up with Essy, Edwin, Syu, Lyly and Dearie for dinner at Simpang Bedok... Dearie treat us cos of his promise of Sakura n its been so long...heehee...nvm...Sakura next!...heehee...it was great meeting the girls...catching up and laughing a lot...i guess some of us needed that... :P...i miss jonny!...somehow we forgot to take picture...and even the picture that we did take last minute was too bad quality for me to post... heehee...nx time we take a lot pictures!

so anyways...then on Friday was Dearie's family gathering...actually its his dad's advanced b'day celebration...so...the celebration was held at J's Wok and Grill...good food as always...His dad actually booked the upstairs for the celebration for 50 guests...and there was buffet...there was also karaoke...luckily i wasn't sabo-ed to sing though there was numerous attempts...heehee...bt Dearie sang...there were some good and bad moments involving his pitching... :P

and there was his cousin's grandma...she was the coolest grandma i've ever known... very open minded...and this i quote from her:

"Nenek memang suker nyanyi2...kalau bole nenek nak nyanyi ni...tapi sayang...anak nenek semue warak2..."English translation

"Grandma likes to sing...if can i want to sing...bt too bad...my children all soo pious"

very cute rite!...heehee...such a fun grandma to hv...heehee...

so...then on Sat...met up with Dearie after his kompang...hung out with Friskies and Jelly...at 1st we didnt noe wat to do...bt Dearie wanted to play pool so badly...heehee... bt Friskies die die dont wan...so...we just decided to go eat first...ate at Popeye's at Downtown...it was Friskies' first time...apparently Dearie sulked throughout the meal and didn't talk cos he wanted to play pool bt no want wanted to play...heehee...

in the end...we did play pool...and it was fun!...though i suck at it...heehee...at one point i accidentally throw the whole stick across the table...heehee...bt it was very fun hanging out with them!...laughed a lot...heehee...let's do it often!... :P

So...Spain won the World Cup...which marks the end of our M&M bets...we all started with 110 M&Ms...and there's a last man standing bowl which contains a whole giant pack...whoever wins or the last one standing wins that whole pack excluding the 110 M&M bets...

It was a fairytale

So...3rd Anniversary celebration was fun...heehee...a memorable one indeed...thank you Dearie for all ur hardwork put into planning the whole thing...

so...anyway...on friday...gave the card tat i made for Dearie so he cud bring it home and we dont hv to carry it around on Saturday like idiots...heehee :P

anyway...so Saturday comes...Dearie fetched me under my void deck and surprised me with 2 gifts...although there was a 3rd one he was trying to hide...so...2 were wrapped and the other was a bag of Famous Amos' Macadamia Chocolate Chip Cookies...heehee...bt we didnt want to open the gifts until later...so we just ate the cookies and off we went to PS...during the journey...we were guessing each other's gift...i knew mine was a plush toy cos i cud feel it...so i joked that it wud be cute if it was a Giant Hammy...u noe...cos its me!...

heehee...niwae...why PS?...Dearie chose it...cos that was where we had our 1st date as a couple...heehee

so...we reached PS and was planning to watch Despicable Me bt the timings and seat sucked...somehow it was sold out for most of the timings...spoiler...we cnt watch a movie like we did on our first date...heehee...and i aint gonna watch Eclipse...some how i hate the Twilight series...its just toooooo lovey dovey and nonsensical that it makes me nausea when they start blabbing the love lines...calling Eclipse a chick flick is an insult to chick flicks...Eclipse shud hv a genre for itself...heehee...not my cup of tea at all man...no offense to Twilight fans...

niwae...so...we decided to just eat at PS and catch a movie at Tamp instead...so...we ate at Manhattan Fish Market...ordered the deep fried platter...Yummay!...i like MFM...i find it nice...heehee...then...after finishing the food and trying to finish my drink...Dearie took out the gift he was trying to hide and told me to open it...it was a heart shaped necklace from Perlini's Silver!...i was very surprised...didnt expect for a necklace...and it was beautiful...simple...just the way i like it...

so...my present was next...and the sweetest coincidence was when i was opening the gift...Taylor Swift's Love Story was playing...tat was our song!...i was tearing up when that happened...such a perfect coincidence...heehee...so...while opening the present... i put my hand in first....touching around trying to guess wat it was...and when i pulled it out...guess wat it was?!...a Giant Hammy!...that was a very pleasant surprise...and the hamster is soo adorable...reminds me of Bugsy from Bedtime Stories...i named him Mr Fluffy or Fluffles for short... :P

so...after all the gifts excitement...we returned to Tamp and catch Despicable Me in 3D...initially we wanted to watch the normal version bt the timings we wanted was sold out too...so....3D it is...heehee...and it was my first 3D movie!...heehee...and i'm glad it was with Dearie... :P

so...after that we walked2 and chilled near my house...then we exchanged the time capsule letter...well....so much for 2011...we ended up reading the letter right away...heehee...anyways...after that Dearie sent me home... :P

It was a lovely celebration syg!...thank you for all ur effort...i had a wonderful time... XOXO... :)

I slept with Mr Fluffy that nite and this was wat i woke up to the next morning...

So...070710!...its our 3 yrs anni!...heehee...i cnt believe its already been that long... we're gonna celebrate it proper on saturday...and we're doing gifts this yr!...heehee... Dearie said he had a surprise up his sleeve...we'll see huh...

so just nw i went shopping for his present and something else...heehee...me gonna make some card thingy for him...heehee... :P...since i'm too free...this yr will be a lot more hardwork in the gifts and surprises...heehee...and after i bought everything...i went to our Esso to wrap the present while waiting for him...all the celebration stuff and gifts will be done on Saturday so it was a torture for Dearie cos he saw the wrapped present bt doesnt noe wat it was...he kept guessing and guessing...hahaha... so fun to see him excitedly stress...heehee...

and wat's worst is that i called one of our frens for some opinions on the present and i didnt tell him who it was and this "fren" had promise not to tell Dearie anything... hahaha...so nw Dearie is guessing who the person who noes so he cn noe wat the present is...hahaha...a perfect torture to him excited for Saturday... heehee :P

So...waddup?

let's see...

went for medical check up accompanied by lil bro...it was a full body check up...including breast examination and x-ray...so...as of last wed...i am 159cm in height and 47.7kg in weight...i gained weight i guess...nt shocking...heehee...wat with the world cup and late nite snacks and all...heehee...

and...i saw lyly at the hospital too! she was also having her check up bt for ICA...and after all the check up and urine test...i am in tip top health...generally at least...heehee...alhamdulillah...

Also...watched Toy Story 3 with siblings and nephews (lil dudes)...I love the movie!...in my opinion...its so much funnier than Shrek 4...heehee...after the movie we had lunch McD...then walk2 at TM...

then....when we get home...lil dudes 1 and 2 had DIY cake session...my sis bought a DIY cake from Royals whereby u purchase a small cake with an icing base and they give u ready to use icing in piping bags and some cake decorators and u decorate it urself...it was fun...heehee...my lil dudes were very...shud i say..."creative"...heehee...i'll post the pic some other time...lazy to upload from camera...

I've also started an exercise regime since 2 days ago cos of all the weight gain...i gained like only a couple of hundred grams...nt even kg yet...bt i prefer to start losing them nw before its too late...plus i'm too free...heehee...so...my weight loss regime is concentrated at my tummy area... heehee...i wan to maintain okey...the only acceptable time for me to be meatier than i am now is after i get married and give birth...nw i must be slim...heehee...so....i do 5 sets of:

25x normal crunches
25x crunches with my 2 legs 45 degrees upwards
25sec 2 legs 45 degree upwards
25x crunches on the left
25x crunches on the right

heehee...why only concentrate on my abdominal area?...cos that's the only part i care about... heehee...so...i plan to do this everyday until i get too busy to exercise...heehee...i still remember the time in yr 1 where i was very active to jog at 6.30am every morning and then i get too tired and lazy to bother anymore...heehee...so...this is my next exercise regime...we'll see how long this lasts...

then yesterday Dearie got back from a wedding and gave me a lollipop!...heehee...it turned my tongue blue though...bt the lollipop very cute...i like!

so...i tink i'll just stop here for now...there are some other stuff to update bt my com nw slow to upload photos...so...just keep it for next time i guess...tata ppl...

So...a lot of stuff needs to be updated...bt haven...heehee...been very busy...though busy is not the correct word to use...i've been "busy" watching World Cup matches so i was lazy to update my blog...heehee :P

So...went out with Aini 2 weeks ago to celebrate her b'day...nth great...just a lunch at Simpang Bedok and bought her Sally Hansen Nail Polishes for her b'day...had fun catching up on stuff and laughed a lot...hope u enjoyed urself... :P...

then...the other time me and Dearie went Swensens for dinner...and Saifuddin was working...so we were given the ultimate meal...Dearie ordered Mega Burger and Cookie Summit while i ordered Double Cheeseburger and Chendol Delight and this was paid with a 15% discount...guess wat we got and was unaccounted for?...heehee... 2 bowls of soup...2 glasses of milo...and a Firehouse Happy B'day Ice Cream and the toy story 3 sourveniers...heehee...imagine how full we were man...it was brutally delicious...heehee :P

then...the other time...went for NIE briefing...no familiar faces...then signed a lot of forms...and i have to go for a medical check up this Wednesday...and go CISCO to make some civil service card thingy...this admin stuffs remind me back to the days when i had to go check up to enter poly...heehee...some memories...

hmm....wat else happened...Dearie got me addicted to this codebook crossword-puzzle-like book...its fun cn...i love doing it...Dearie actually bought it for himself to kill time at camp...bt apparently its been in my hand for 35 puzzles...heehee...268 more puzzles to go...heehee...its fun to use this book to kill time in between WC matches... :P

Family has been going back and forth to M'sia for a road trip...i didnt go for any cos of space constraints...bt u noe wat's in it for me?...Good food!...they'll always come back bringing food... heehee...and these are my meals while watching the 10pm and 2.30am matches... :P there were Kenny Rogers...Papparoti...Loads of crackers... Baskin Robbins ice cream...and Donuts!...heehee...

then the other time me and Dearie had lunch with his parents at vivocity...Dearie's dad work at MapleTree and he got like vouchers for used at vivocity and these vouchers was gonna b used to shop for Dearie's stuff...so...met up with Dearie and his mum and off we went to vivo...met up with his dad cos he just ended work...and we had lunch at pizza hut...then we went around looking for stuff for Dearie... Dearie was looking for jeans so we went Levi's...Levi's had the promotion "3 bottoms for 100 bux"...and i meant any jeans...bloody cheap rite?...so...Dearie bought 1 jeans and a bermudas and guess wat?...his parents made me pick one for myself too...sweet rite... how bloody paiseh i was...i mean...treat food is one thing...levi's jeans?...that's nt for me man...bt...they insisted...so...i took a straight cut jeans...after that...look for Dearie's top and TopMan...and his parents went home on a bike while we took the train...

so...playing junior pictionary with the 2 little dudes was hilarious...at first it was drawing...its so cute la playing with them...me and lil dude 2 was one team and sis was with lil dude 1...and small bro was the middleman...so both lil dudes was suppose to draw the word "heart"...and sis and me were suppose to guess...so they draw...lil dude 2 draw the heart shape...and i guessed...guess wat lil dude one drew?...he actually was drawing valves and in the process of drawing a real human heart... hahaha...so cute rite...

then...we used the pictionary cards but in charades...we got lazy drawing...so...lil dude 2 was suppose to act out the word "boxing" and sis and lil dude 1 were suppose to guess...guess wat he did?...he rolled into a ball on the floor and just remain still... apparently he tot "boxing" was the process of being a box....hahahaha....bloody hilarious...so cute!!!...

so u cn imagine how it was playing with them...always make me smile...so adorable...

then...at the most unexpected time...my phone decided to be un-touched-able...the touch screen totally doesn't work anymore...its actually quite normal the past few months...the screen will jam and i just need to restart and it'll be back to normal...bt apparently this time round i cnt even get the phone started cos part of the switching on process requires the screen to be touched and since the screen doesn't work...my phone cnt even be switched on anymore...crappy huh!...

so...i kinda need a new phone now...so...tmr gg to the PC show with Dearie to see if there's any good deals...i'm signing a totally new line cos my line has ended and i'm nt continuing it...will sign up Spideynan's corporate line...so my number will change ppl!...bt will only confirm soon la huh... now i'm just using bro's old phone...thank god for that...

so...wat has happened for the past days....firstly...Chickfest 2010!...hahaha...so fun... movie marathons and butter popcorns...heehee...nth beats that man...bt it was a hell of a weekend i must say...

then...there was Abg Jamal's Wedding...the nikah was funny...the Tok Kadi was funny...bt it was a smooth ceremony...and Kak Ina look so different...her makeup was great...not too much...she was so elegant...heehee...congrats to Abg Jamal and Kak Ina!

then there was the Family Day...it was fun at some point and kinda scary at some point...okey...the Carnival was fun...u noe...lining up for popcorns and one Auntie gave us free cotton candy cos we chop her queue place cos she went to take her daughter who came from the cotton candy queue...as they say...good deeds comes with good rewards...heehee...

then me and Dearie played lame carnival games...heehee...things like throw toy bananas into a monkey's mouth...or throw legs and hands into a shark's mouth...the prize was pencils...its stupid i noe...bt the game was fun...heehee...so we went around playing the games while side betting popcorns...heehee...me and Dearie won a pencil each...hahaha...wth are we doing with our leftover youth huh?...hahaha...bt it was such a fun day...this simple things makes me happy!... like a small kid... :P

then after that we went Escape cos we got free passes for it...heehee...it our first time there actually...the first thing we did was go into the haunted house...it was lame... hahaha...and so short...luckily we didnt need to pay to go in...waste money...heehee... bt since it was free....so...okey la...hahahaha

then...thanx to Dearie...the next thing we did...which happened to be the last thing we did...was to ride the Pirate Ship which was the Viking ride...it was the scariest thing i've ever done... SERIOUSLY...being a height-phobic person...it was a near death experience for me k...i was shaking like crazy out of fear...i just wanted it to stop...i actually teared up cos i was so scared... everytime it goes up...my heart beats like crazy...then when it goes down...my heart literally stopped...its as if my soul jumped out of my body...scary shit!...then after it stopped...i had to sit down for a while to calm myself down bt i felt like crying and puking...so...after a while we went to grab lunch and while waiting for the bus...i puked...bt i did feel better after that though... and i cn safely say...that stupid ride may as well made me a theme park ride phobic person cos i didnt want to ride anything else after that...heehee...poor baby had to calm me down...see wat phobias can do to a person...

anyways...wat else cn i say...

ooh...i got the NIE placement!...woohoo! woohoo!...alhamdulillah...okey2...but... there's a catch though...i'm not getting into this intake...i'm gg in the nx intake... which is July 2011...bummer rite?...But!...i noe... so many "buts"... Sep 13 2010... i'm gonna go to some pri skool and work as an untrained teacher...till my intake starts... and i'll get paid!...finally!...heehee....yeah...apparently this "untrained teacher" scheme is to give potential teachers an idea of wat teaching is all abt...and i'm fine with that...cos i cud use a pay rite nw...heehee... :P and this only means i'll still be selling grapes for the nx 2 months...by selling grapes i mean "jual anggur"...as in "menganggur"...as in..."unemployed"...heehee :P...it makes more sense in malay la huh...

Cnt wait for the weekends...Saturday and Sunday is Abg Jamal's wedding (Dearie's biological bro) and we're invited...so...that's another wedding invitation for us... :)

BUT!...wat i really cnt wait for is...S'pore Power's family day...its where Spideynan works actually...and he doesn't like gg for Family Day so he gave me the 2 tickets...so me and Dearie are gg...heehee...

i noe...wat's up with Family Day and me?...heehee...i dont noe...i guess its a childhood thing...i love gg to Family Days...i like the food coupons that we're given... then there is the game coupons...i mean the stuff are just cheap stuff like kacang puteh or corn in a cup or popcorns... then prizes for the games are like small soft toys or mini water gun...bt it makes me happy... heehee...as a child these carnivals are my happy place...its always fun...and i always have fun...and even nw at 20 years old these happy memories stays...which is why i love family days...everytime there is a family day...i love to go...heehee...its these simple stuff that makes me happy...

So...what has happened...sleeping last friday & saturday was a torture cos there was a wedding at my void deck and guess where the food-making tent was?...right underneath my kitchen and my room window...

so...the whole night while i was trying to slp with the smell of different foods...it was chicken wings at first...that was a bloody torture...cos that lasted quite a long time... who noes how many chicken they fried...then it was some beef meat...i tink they made rendang...bloody nice smell...stupid!... heehee...i was super hungry when i slp man...thanx to the smells...then got some sambal smell also...stupid!...hahahah... then on sunday morning i woke up to the smell of briyani...bloody hell rite?... heehee...one of the cons of my house location...so far most weddings in my block put the food-making tent below my kitchen....thanx a lot... :P

speaking of weddings...why do they always hv to play crappy songs every wedding... there's always...w/o fail..."Kuch Kuch Hota Hai"...crappy malay jiwang songs...and worst...dangdut... always le...its like everyone hv the same playlist except different sound system company...i dont get it why they cnt play nice songs...i cnt tink of a thousand love songs that wud be appropriate for a wedding...bt nooooo...they hv to play songs abt getting cheated on....or left by gf/bf....or death...depressing le for guests who are single or something like that...heehee...weddings are suppose to be a happy occasion for everyone...

so...with that in mind...me and spideynan came up with the same conclusion that for our own respective wedding...there wont be any paid DJs and crappy playlist...i wont be playing much malay songs cos they're songs are pretty much depressing...perhaps a few that i liked like Peterpan's cos they hv good tunes...bt i'll mostly play english songs...heehee...its my wedding...i wanna hear songs that i like...and guess wat...

out of boredom...i actually typed out a playlist for my wedding...hahaha...i've come up with 150 songs so far...hahaha...there will be changes for sure...there are still at least 5 yrs or more before i get married and good songs can be made within those years... heehee

well...today was the interview for NIE...i tink in my opinion...that was by far the nicest interviewers i've ever known...they were so bubbly and it was a fun interview...i dont noe if it's possible...bt i actually enjoyed the interview...heehee...

Hopefully everything goes well...i dont wanna jinx it so i'm not gonna say anything... they'll just inform me in 2-3 weeks time for the outcome...i'll just cross my fingers till then... :D

So...graduation was epic...heehee...not the ceremony...bt camwhoring with the girls!...heehee...

to those who are unaware...apparently in TP...after u bust ur butt off for 3 years to graduate...u get to watch your own ceremony from the lecture theatre instead of the Hall...the only time u're in the hall is the 10 sec when u shake hand for the diploma and back to the LT...that's a bunch of bull...seriously man...somehow i hv this curse to be the first batch of some "thing"...apparently we're the 1st batch to do this "seat in the LT" nonsense...and i was the only batch to hv grad nite fund spent on NE corner...!@#@$...give me a break man...

on a lighter note though...i still had fun thanx to the girls!...camwhored a lot!... heehee...Dearie and mummy was there...Dearie actually had fever bt he still came... thank u...that meant a lot...heehee... bt he did pass it to me cos i was feverish when i got hm...heehee...u noe as usual...me...weakling... hahaha...and jonny...u're very missed!...too bad u cant be there...

So...on Saturday...my bros went Kings Ice Cream factory and bought 80 bux worth of ice cream and that doesnt include the "buy this and get this free" kinda thing... heehee...he accidentally bought like 2 cartons of 100ml tub ice cream...that's like 96 cups...he taught he was buying 2 cups...he didnt realise the order form states as cartons...heehee...

this is the view of my fridge...and keep in mind there were still some at the door of the fridge... and that this is only the front view...watever u see stretches till the back of the fridge not just the front...

so...ice cream has been my staple food...heehee...i've been eating ice cream as part of my breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper...hahaha...so fun...

Hmm...

I dont noe why but i'm really excited abt next wk's grad ceremony...i really cnt wait for it... heehee...weird huh?...

Cnt really say...i mean...i never really had an official graduation ceremony ever...so...this graduation means a lot to me u noe...let's see...

In kindergarden..i didnt go K2 so cant really talk abt graduation huh...

Then there's primary school...back then i dont tink there's any celebration...just give out PSLE results and that's it...we're out!...heehee

Secondary school?...me and my schoolmates had the "priviledge" of having our Grad Nite fund being used up for the stupid NE corner...so...i didnt hv a grad nite...or any grad ceremony for that matter...which is kinda unfair...so...it sux...heehee...

so...comes Poly!...and for once i want to actually get recognition for all the hardwork me and my frens had put in throughout the 3 years...a proper ceremony...finally!.... heehee...and i cnt wait for it...heehee...its like the grad nite i never had...and its so gonna be awesome cos me and my loved clique are gonna take soo many pics we'll make an album out of it i swear...heehee...

So...since i've been at home a lot...i've been making sweet treats a lot too... experimenting recipes that i found online to see if its nice and stuff...

Niwaes...the dessert that i made first was the egg tarts...mainly cos my mum bought a lot of eggs and didnt noe wat to do with them...heehee...so here it is...

The next thing i made was Popeye's Buttermilk cookie thingy...found it online...it was almost accurate...i cn taste the goodness of the Popeye's version in this recipe...needs a little twicking in the future and i bet it'll taste exactly the same...so nice!...heehee... so happy with this recipe and...if u really eat it with jam...it taste exactly the same... :D

The strawbeery puree i had...it taste incredible together!...

Then....the latest thing i made was vanilla cupcakes with lemon butter cream icing...it was nice!... a good recipe...i made it cos i was watching Rachel Allen Bake! on tv and she had this recipe...it was really simple to make but its nice!...and here it is...

So...these past few days had been really fun...

Chill out with Essy and Dearie playing all sorts of games...original plan was actually to bring my lil dude out for playground fun...bt last minute he went home early...so the 3 of us just chilled...grab our bubble teas and snacks...and proceed to ngee ann...played carrom, UNO Stacko, UNO Spin most of the time...then played the A-Z game...heehee...so fun...here are the pics...

Then the next day had another hang out session with Lyly and Essy...chilled out and made pizza and pudding dessert...then play carrom and UNO Spin...then had camwhoring session...bt too bad no me pics... heehee...wasnt covered up la...too bad...heehee

Then today went out with Dearie...impulsively watched Ip Man 2....heehee...it was a great movie man...loads of fighting scenes...u'll like it if u like martial arts...heehee...and i didnt noe if was based on a true story...so cool!...heehee

B4 anything...i just wanna say....this is the 100th post of my blog!!... woohoo....

So...anyway...watched Iron Man 2...it was awesome!...i love it...watching it with G&B comic members was really fun cos they understood all the jokes like i did cos they really noe the storyline inside out...so everyone was laughing with me in a way...its cool...bt when i watch it with Dearie... the other regular audience were silent during funny jokes and i'm like "wth? that was funny...why isn't anyone laughing?"...so boring...heehee...bt luckily Dearie was there to laugh with me...heehee...

Scarlett Johansson a.k.a Black Widow was freaking hot...like seriously very very hot...i love her playing the character...smokin' man... if ever i become crooked...i'll go for her...heehee...and her fighting scenes were cool too....

then there's the villain...Mickey Rourke a.k.a Whip Lash...he was good too...he really defined wat a villain shud look like...very fierce...i like!...plus with his accent...cool dude!...like some mafia...

and then there's Robert Downey Jr. a.k.a Iron Man...his character was funny...i like his wit...very sarcastic...and he played narcissism perfectly like how the Iron Man shud be...heehee...full of himself...hahaha...so...its a great movie to watch...very loud and the storyline is still great!...i like!...

then...on monday went Sakura with my family including the 2 lil dudes..it was a fun day...loads of laughing...lil dudes are still cute as ever...adorable!...also played UNO stacko, UNO spin and carrom with them...hilarious shit man....ate a lot too!...my tummy was very happy...heehee... :P
Alim actually ate till he vomitted...cos too full...then he ate somemore after that...heehee...talk abt making the most out of buffets...hahaha...enjoy the pics...

Moving on...NTU finally gave an answer...and it was a stupid answer...after making us wait for 2 months with no productivity...i got rejected...bloody hell rite?...in addition i rejected the First Campus offer...now i'm back to square one...Spideynan and Dearie asked me to apply for teaching in primary skool instead as in the diploma at NIE...i was reluctant cos i'm sick of waiting just so i could get rejected...it sux...waste my bloody time only...bt i did apply anyway though i'm kinda skeptical abt it...bt i'm not gonna wait around...i'm looking for a job too....just see wat happens kinda thing...stupid NTU...waste my f***ing time...dont mind my language...heehee

Yesterday was my one day attachment at NTUC First Campus...it was fun while it lasted i guess...bt i dont noe if tat's where i wanna be...i mean the kids were cute and all bt i really think wateva i did yesterday wont benefit anyone ever...heehee

i mean...the job was okey...bt working with kids that young...its a "watever i said wont be remembered the next day" kinda situation...so...i guess its nt really something i can actually do for a really long time w/o having the "wth am i doing there" kinda thing...so...i guess i dont wanna work there...

i really wanna be a teacher...bt i want to make sense to someone...and i tink the "someones" are secondary school students...i really wanna teach something... especially cooking and nutrition stuff...i really2 hope i get the NTU thing cos i really dont have a back up plan this time...n NTU is really pissing me off...so looonnngggg!!! i tink i cn finish another diploma and they are still not done with the application process...heehee

Bt i'm really glad i went for the attachment...at least nw i noe wat its like there and not make the mistake of actually joining the 1 year course and then regretting later...plus the kids there are so adorable and cute...bt the teachers working there look like their forced to work there...they dont look enthusiastic at all and they look so PMS-ed...like never get like tat...hahahaha...n i dont wanna be like that...i want to actually love my job...

Bt small world...Dearie's fren was there...hahaha...so it was fun to hv a familiar face...bt i dont wanna work there...its not my cup of tea i guess...no offence to ppl who wanna go la huh...its just my personal decision... :)

Well...i guess we'll see wat god has in store for me...rite not i'm just waiting for NTU...n finding a temp job...

Someone is really pissing me off too much...i cn stay patient bt god noes how long huh...watever i do its never rite...i do this cnt...i do tat cnt...i really cnt wait to get my own place and get the hell out of this place...i tink when i'm gone then she'll noe how much work i've done around the house rather than the usual "nothing" that she always says...bt i'll always choose the easy way out...u noe...get out of the house and spent time with my frens and Dearie who actually appreciate me for a decent conversation...OR...i'll just shut up and give deaf ear cos i noe if i open my mouth and snap...i'm soo going to hell...heehee...ooh well...Patience never fails i guess...

On a lighter note...i'm gg to watch Iron Man 2 with Spideynan tmr!...woohoo...n they'll be a goodie bag...heehee...so fun...its part of G&B Comics member thingy which Spideynan is in...so...cnt wait!...heehee...

B'days and what nots

well...there's a lot to update actually...firstly was my b'day celebration with Dearie!...i wore the dress...it was nice!...bt still i find it a little bit too long soo i'm gonna alter it a bit... :D

niwae...so...the day started with Dearie fetching me from my void deck...then off we go to Pasir Ris and we ate at Sakura!...heehee...i like!...we ate alot!... and after our tummies were happy...we walk2 at Downtown East...then out of impulse we decided to watch the next movie that is showing at that time...n so it was "Date Night"...heehee...so impulsive...usually we dont watch this kind of movie...bt we did tat day...

after that we came back to Tmart and our usual place...n we had a mini dinner cos we were still kinda full from the buffet...he had Green apple milk tea and double cheeseburger while i had mint milk tea and cinnamon melts...so nice!...i like!...nth like the simplest thing in life...heehee...played our games...n off we went...it was a nice day!...there was actually a plan to watch the sunset bt too bad it was cloudy that day...bt i loved it still!

ooh...then my lil bro gave me a 100 bux for my b'day and he was like "Go buy urself something nice"...hahaha...so fun...bt too bad la...i didnt really spent on something i wanted...broke being broke...i just bought all my neccessities like shampoos, deodorants and compact powder and keep the rest for my meals if i were to go out...ooh well...my life's like tat...

then yesterday celebrated my b'day with Aini!...heehee...we met after her shift and had dinner... Pastamania!...then we went around looking for my sandals cos she asked me wat i want and i chose sandals cos my current sandals will break anytime soon...heehee...so went around here and there and finally found one that i love!...and it was Charles and Keith!...cool!...see wat i mean when i say watever branded stuff i ever own i never really buy it...its always some form of gift... heehee...

Its it has a reasonable amount of straps for my liking bt not too much to irritate Dearie...hahaha

So...mummy bought a cake for both me and Spideynan cos we are the April babies...as usual...cake is sponsored by Secret Recipe...this is the Chocolate Chip Walnut...i like!...so nice...

So creamy...

Then...my mum bought 6 boxes of durian...so i couldnt resist but make my all time favourite sinful dessert...rice drizzled with coconut milk and sugar and topped with durian flesh...YUM!

This was my dinner yesterday...i'm gonna be fat aren't i?...hahaha...2 homemade fried chicken thigh...fried tater puffs...baked beans...the sauce at the side is my own homemade black pepper sauce...and at the top is my mum's rassum...which makes a nice starter soup...heehee...

so...this weekend had been fun...it was my pre b'day shopping...hahaha...its pretty much buying stuff for me to wear on my b'day celebration day cos Dearie specially took leave on that day... :D

anyway...so we went TM and CS to find shoes...actually this shoe is more importantly for Grad Ceremony cos i dont hv any formal shoes...so...was finding something like pumps...so look2 then finally bought it at Isetan...

Simple, Black and Glossy...i like!

Then went over to Afghan to find a dress...he surprised me cos he noes i was looking for a dress and at afghan got this shop that sells very nice maxi dresses...so...off we go...and guess who we met along the way?....Syu and Joe!...heehee...wat a coincidence rite?...heehee....they were gg shopping for Joe's things...then Syu hugged me...which was shocking...hahaha...and

PS: Syu...u hug me too tight tat some things also hugged...if u noe wat i mean...hahahaha

anyway...so...went to the dress shop...then he selected for me this gorgeous black and turqoise dress...he said he had been eye-ing that dress for me cos he find it nice...hahaha...u're right Dear!
so...here's the dress...

Its actually full body long la huh...bt i lazy take the pic of the whole dress...i actually tried it on at the shop while Dearie wait outside...the whole dress fits me perfectly except for the fact that it was bloody long...hahaha...i am too short...so...the shopkeeper help me take the measurement and help me alter for just 2 bux extra...so nice right...bt i cn only take it the nx day la...bt hu cares...she did a good job of sewing it and nw it fits me perfectly...heehee

Then something sweet happened...cos i tried a sample of this Elseve thingy tat they sent at the mail and it was great...my hair was very smooth...so the other time i checked it at Watsons...very expensive for just a small bottle...so i was like...nvm la...dont buy...too broke already...

so...Dearie was waiting outside the shop rite?...so i try try try the dress...then when everything finish already...i went outside to meet him...there he was playing his game...then we decided to go ngee ann to chill out...then as i was carrying my bag...he suddenly put his hand inside the bag and say he looking for something...so...he look look look...then he took out the Elseve thingy!...heehee...while i was trying on the dress he actually ran to Guardian to buy it for me...so sweet!...heehee...tat was a surprise i didnt expect...

then we had dinner at Popeye's...Dearie never had it so we went...heehee...and he loves it...heehee...i'm gonna gain weight man...hahaha...2 Popeye's in a week... :P

so...tat was the end of my pre b'day shopping... :P

anyway...thank to Jalil's craving for waffle...i ended up making the batter for myself too... heehee...bt i was lazy to take out the waffle iron so...i made it into a pancake instead...hahaha...then drenched it in Hershey's chocolate sauce and strawberry puree...so nice!...

so...anyway...bored...so...i was online browsing for clothes...out of boredom... apparently ebay sells some very nice long dresses...i posted pics of 4 dresses...sori a little small cos i couldnt save the enlarged one...bt they are really nice le...each is 30+ bux...i tink when i start working i'll be shopping for dresses on ebay man...nice and quite reasonable price...so..wash ur eyes nw... :D

so...today hangout with Dearie at ngee ann...and i found out something abt myself...

i drank like a quadrupled dosage of coffee than i always do...and at first i was hyper...very hyper... than like an hour later...i was angry...very very angry...i was snapping at anything man...i noe it wasnt PMS cos my PMS is depression...i tink this is just the after effect of the coffee...poor Dearie cos i snapped at him A LOT for the last 2 hrs that we hanged out before i went home for our own safety...

we were playing this game on his i-phone called Angry Birds whereby we are suppose to aim and shoot at pigs before moving on to the nx lvl...diff lvl is diff. version la huh easy said...its quite challenging as we proceed further...and we've played this game till we reach this lvl for some time already and we always hv fun making fun of each other when we missed and stuff...bt today...i was very angry when he missed and i dont even noe y...i was just angry at his every move man...he shoot there i angry...he shoot here i angry...seriously le...poor baby....

then otw home...it was raining so we shared umbrella...then as usual he make sure i was under the umbrella fully cos i get sick easily...heehee...and usually i'll be touched and stuff...bt today i was angry and i snapped at him to move into the umbrella cos he'll get sick...

scary le!...its as if i was 2 person in one cos i'll be angry then subconsciously i feel bad and i'll apologise...poor baby cos i never snap at him before...ever...i'm nt an angry person...i feel so bad cos he was so patient and he was smiling all the way through and give in to watever i snapped abt...i'm so sorry dear!...i promised to never drink coffee like that anymore..i dont like to be this person again...i dont like being angry...thank u for being patient and laughing all the way through...

I noe i've typed a lot of entries today...bt...ooh well...i'm gonna type another one...hahahaha...when you are really free and hv a lot of waiting time or something...u tend to tink a lot u noe...heehee

I'm tinking abt the major decisions i made in life...and what has been the outcome...and guess wat...i'm actually happy with hw life has been... :D

PSLE...i gt aggregate tat most ppl wud use to go into those up2 skools like TKGS and all those kind...bt me and Aini decided to go Damai...a neighbourhood skool...and i've never regretted any moment of that decision...no pressure and just enjoying every moment of secondary school life...When i get older...i'm very comforted that my secondary school memories are nt abt homework and exam papers...its abt the great frens (u noe who u are) tat i made, the memories that we created and the fact tat we are still in contact with each other to reminicse those times... :D

O' Levels...i gt aggregate tat most ppl wud use to go any of the JCs possible...i still dont get it...y? hahaha...niwae...bt i chose to go TP...studying the science of food and the nutrition behind it... haha...i still cnt believe i chose this course because of Koolwerkz...bt hey...nw that i tink of it...it was the best decision i've ever made...

I really got to work at the ice cream factory tat was my deciding factor... :P
I met a wonderful bunch of frens i cud ask for...(Essy,Syu,Lyly and Jonny)
I finally realized the profession i want to be in (Teaching food and nutrition)
I met my brothers from another mother :P...(Jalil,Mirza and Nafis)
Lastly...I met my one and only Dearie...

Allhamdullillah...

Nw...its the next step...the defining moment i must say...whatever happens it'll decided where i'll be in the future...and i hope it'll be a good future...Insyallah...

Well...it just hit me that we no longer hv the title "STUDENT" unless we're studying nw la...if we are nt studying and we dont hv a job...guess wat?...we're "UNEMPLOYED"...cnt believe i'm living with this title...heehee...

i really hope i get the NTU thingy...cos i seriously dont wanna work or enter the working life...it sux...i was in the MRT today gg to Watson's HQ for my supposed 1st day...and it was like 8am...so i shared the MRT cabin with ppl who is gg to work...all of the look dead...working life sux...its a routine everyday and it will kill the life in you man...they dont look like they are having fun...i tink the only upside of working is the fact that u actually get paid...bt at wat cost?...ur social life and watever interest that u ever had when u were young...somehow when ppl start working...they are only tinking of working to pay off bills and stuff...they lose the will or energy to hv fun..no sense of purpose...its sad...i dont wanna enter this world...i wanna delay it as much as possible...

i just wanna learn new things every day...just try new things...nt every morning go to work...then near evening go home...then this cycle goes on and on every single day...its such a waste of life...i really2 hope i wont be like this anytime soon...

ooh well...tat's all...my dear concerns of the future...okey ppl...stay young at heart and dont get cranky and uptight... :D

When life become an April Fool's Joke...

so...yesterday me and Aini went for the Watson's interview...funny story...we got it!...hahaha...

the interview was questionable...it was a walk-in interview at the HQ...there were like 5 ppl before us and all of them took like 1 min each in the interview room and left...then Aini was called 1st...she took abt 3mins...she came out with a piece of paper...bt i didnt noe wat it was abt cos i was nx...so i went in...the woman scared the crap out of me...she like never get like that...hahahah...asked me some qns abt the conditions and stuff...

So...in the end i'm hired as a temporary full-timer till July...that means 6 day work week, working on weekends,one off-day on a weekday(decided by the manager of my outlet), and possibility of outlet at Orchard...i noe...i agreed to these conditions?!...i only did cos i was shocked and just glad that i gt the job in like 1 min...bt the main reason cos the woman scared me... hahaha...so i crumbled under pressure...hahaha...then after we left and i reached tamp...i started tinking...and dude...full-timer schedule sux man...6 day work week le!...i hv a life man...hahaha...so...i decided on part time la...we'll see if they call me...

Its funny hw i cn go for an interview...get a job in like 3mins...in my mind secured a job for like a day...nx day report for work...open my mouth...and 1min ltr i'm unemployed again...hahaha... That's how life pull an April Fool's prank on u man...ooh well...hopefully things will look up soon or something... :D

ooh...and the package has been delivered...wat package?...the GRADUATION package!...its official...my last day of stepping in TP wud be on 19 May at 2pm...woohoo!...

the Fresh Profusion one was funny...they only looking for one person...so me and Aini were loooking at each other and was like...crap...hw?...sooooo...we did wat any normal human being wud...

so...wat have i been doing for the past weeks?...nth noble really...i tink i contributed to global warming cos i used a lot of electricity for my sitcom marathons...heehee...ooh well...

been at home for 3/4 of the time...so cooked A LOT...heehee...bt will only mention the ones that i just tried making for the first time...hmm...made Apple Crumble out of craving...heehee...wat?... when u're bored at home and hungry u'll start craving for things...niwae...it turned out great!...i love the recipe that i found online...its a gd working one..plus...its healthy cos it uses oats as part of the crumbles...so...good fibre source!...heehee :P

then...cos my mum is away on holiday to Pahang....i'm suppose to cook for my bros...so...1st day made "ramly burger" for brunch and chicken soup with macaroni for dinner...then 2nd day...brunch was karipap given by my neighbour...then for dinner it was a roasted spring chicken is "ayam percik" marinate...i still hv no idea hw i made it...bt it tasted nice like it so wth...heehee ...throw ingredients here and there oso can...then got roasted curry potatoes and roasted rosemary mushrooms...even Spideynan helped me peel the potatoes out of boredom...heehee...so fun...

then the 3rd day which was today...breakfast and lunch was own time own target cos my bros go to work so left me...dinner i made a real home cook meal for the 1st time!...heehee...so happy...and it turned out great...for me at least...heehee...i made black pepper seafood ikan bilis fried rice... hahaha....i noe rite? wth is tat?...well...Spideynan suggested me these dishes individually...so i lump them together cos it was possible...heehee...and it worked!...never have i ever cooked these kind of dishes before...its usually western or italian or nothing asian at all...bt today i made it! heehee... :D

anyway...then today i received my academic transcripts (official result slip) in the mail today...so much for "Dont Fold" written on the envelope cos my transcript was crumpled at the edges... heehee...ooh well...as long as i get the hell out of TP tat's all that matters... :D

So...its 1.23am currently...and i haven sleep...downloading season 4 of How I Met Your Mother...i really think i'll go blind soon...if nt the computer screen its the tv...tat's been my routine all holiday...

anyway...yesterday had lunch with Dearie and parents at J's Wok and Grill...the place is still awesome...have u even had a real sirloin steak at a restaurant setting for just 10 bux?...its really affordable...cnt wait to actually be making money so i cn treat my frens and family to all these places...its so nice...

anyway my stitch came out!...it was actually loosening a bit in my gum so i gave a gentle thug and it came out!...so i pulled out the rest and now i dont need to waste my money and go dentist!...woohoo...

also yesterday me and Dearie were talking abt names for children in the future if we hv any...it was so hilarious...we can really come up with perfect names or horribly structured names... heehee...bt i came up with 2 names for girls...i find it pretty nice...bt i dont noe the meaning...so must check...somehow i cnt tink of names for boys cos i totally hv no idea the meaning of their names...heehee...not gonna reveal my idea of the names here though...ppl might use it...heehee

i really need a temp job right nw...so broke...so bored...bt it sux cos there's the uncertainty of whether i actually get the NTU placement or not...cos if i noe i'm nt gg NTU nw then i dont need to waste my time with this kind of temp job and find something else that's permanent...i hate waiting for this kind of results...plus the results will only come out between mid April-June...so wat am i suppose to do nw?...crap!...

dont mind my crankiness...must be cos its already late at night and i'm nt asleep yet... heehee...

and i just realise i'm turning 20 in less than a month and look where i am...doing nth with my life...such wasted youth...hopefully i'll achieve something...somehow... sometime...
